How ironic I was going to give her the same two names!

Same names recommended!
Also, come on over to the DS forum. We have a number of people there who have been revised to DS after lap band, rny or vbg. Things are sometimes slow on the weekend, but if you do a shout-out for revision people tomorrow, I bet you'll get some good responses.

I second what Larra suggested. We're seeing so MANY revision patients seeking information on the DS board including failed lap bands , RNYs, and VSGs just to name a few.

...And PLEASE- Do not delude yourself in thinking because you had a Lap Band that a revision will be a simple, uncomplicated matter. Every patient brings to the revision table thier unique set of cir****tances and presentation. We're seeing some pretty serious issues out longer term with this foreign body implement including gastric erosion and breaching of the stomach wall. Much more common than you might imagine.

Bottom line. This requires an EXPERIENCED, EXPERT revisionist and it's not a time to pinch pennies and take the first or even recommended surgeon your insurance company may try and dedicate.
