Disappointed in Shellsbells...

I did not get involved in the Stalker Val situation and don't even know what it is all about.

I did not mean to put my post on the boards to do any harm to Shelly, just needed some help and guiadance from my OH family who has always been there for me when I needed help.

I truly am sorry if I have hurt anyones feelings as a result.

You really want to stay far away from the Stalker Val situation, she's back on the main board and there's also two threads on Rants and Raves.  To summarize, it's ugly and I'm  am staying way out of it.

You are very sweet, kind person.  I think, when she has managed to fix whatever is going on her life that has gone amuck, you well hear from Shelly. 

My feelings aren't hurt in the least. 

Don't let a bad experience change you in the least.

Jen we all make mistakes and say things here that we should not...so don't even worry your head. I have been wondering myself what happened to Shells.

I do not really know what happened because you withdrew the post, but I can gather from what others have said that you loaned some money. Well the other posters said it well...don't ever loan anymore money than you are willing to give to a friend even relatives.

Hopefully Shells will get in contact with you and there will be an explanation about her actions. Actually I would hope so because she seemed like a really nice gal.

We all get our expectations let down and we find out the hard way....we find that people are much different in a lot of ways. One of my dear friends whom I met here once told me that we all come to these boards a wounded person....some more than others and we have to take that into consideration when things happen. I know I wear my heart on my sleeve a lot of get hurt....so I do understand you in that respect.

Just kind of hope that Shells contacts you....I know I surely would be happy to hear that she has!

I am not sure exactly what happened as I saw this after you deleted the original post.
Let me just say....ShellsBells also was suppose to be "in charge" of the OH Picnic at Craigs Park this year and she had set up a paypal account several months ago and asked for donations to start the project...well I was one that sent money and of course nothing has been said about the event at all. I am sure I am not the only one who sent her money...its too bad!

You might want to consider PMing her about this matter.  When was/is the picnic supposed to be?  Was this an "officially sponsored" OH event or a group of people who met on OH? 

Well, I think I have said as much as is proper without knowing more.

Hi Lisa, The Tom's Farms event was supposed to take place in May 2008. After getting Shellbells' info for Paypal, nothing was ever mentioned about it again from her end. It was a function for anyone associated with the OH California board. We actually had the Tom's Farms event in November 2008, and it was put together by Steve J. It was a wonderful day with a great turn out as usual. =)

It is kind of like the missing mystery box and christmas box...I have never gotten those back either.

Are you able identify where they went missing?

Yanno, there was a gift exchange on a couple of boards at Christmas time and, because I wasn't wholly comfortable with the idea, chose not to participate.  Turned out that quite a few folks either received their gifts really late or not at all.  Oddly, that wasn't what made me uncomfortable, it was that I didn't really feel anyone on the boards knew me well enough for a gift exchange.
