No, she gave us her Paypal info so we could give donations to go toward the event. I don't think anyone ever got their money back from her when she didn't set up the event.

Well I think everyone that sent money to that paypal account should be refunded naturally if there is/was no event. I have been a lurker on here latey but sometimes you know me, I have to speak up when I read something that just sounds weird to me.

I would like to think there is some kind of explanation for this but think it's strange if you don't get your money back if there is no event?

Let's just hope for the best and think that she got busy or is planning for something. 

I know I got burned back in the day participating in a gift exchange on here and never participated since. It actually hurt my feelings and wondered why the heck someone would even sign up in the first place if they didn't have time or wasn't motivated in doing so. The person didn't even say sorry or give an explanation to why they never acknowledged me or anything. Yes, i got all booty hurt. Anyway, just venting... not sure why I felt the need to share that. Hell, it's been 2 years since it happened! lol

Oh wow hun.. I am so sorry that happened not only to you, but to the other people who donated to her.  No matter how people take advantage of you, weather you loan them money, or you donate money for a project that never happens, it still hurts to know you have been taken advantage of.  I am really sorry you had to experience this.
