Warren did great!  This course was the hardest one weve seen for the kids so we were pretty nervous for him, but he did it and never fell down or anything! we are very proud of him! I posted some pics on my profile if you want to look. Have a wonderful Sunday Cali !

Good Morning Janine and Cali,

Its funny Jordyn only gets up that early and stays up on the weekend with mom.  During the week when I take her in and put her down on Grandmothers bed she stays out like a light.  Maybe she doesn't like my mattress.  Grandmother's is a pillow-top.  This morning I made her go back to sleep after a couple of hours for her own sake and mom's nerves.  I fell back to sleep too.  Don't know when I have started a day after 9 am but it feels good. 

Today will be a goof off day.  I want to to enjoy the fact that I made it through that last class and have a wee****il the next one begins.  This week will be for cleaning and organizing before then.

Good Morning Cali Crew and Janine..... 

Today brings the 2nd morning of Turkey Season and I am here enjoying another beautiful quiet morning alone.  Tv off, dogs fed and sacked out, no Jayden, windows open and a breeze coming through.

Yes, we did buy the boat.  OMG it is in such good shape.  The engine looks like it's brand new.  It's always been covered and is so pretty.  Pictures later today.  Anyway, it skoooooots!  Methinks we're gonna have some fun!

I sent Joe off to work and then spent the day with some friends.  Home and Garden show, RV shopping,  ice cream at Cold Stone (I didn't have any - I know what ice cream will do to me!) and then back to one of their houses for more gabbing!.  In the middle of it all, I went down to get my tat finished and................

I have never been so pissed off at anyone in my life.  It left me speachless.  I went in and talked to the "artest" at the desk and explained what I wanted.  He proceeded to tell me that there is no way anybody could do what I wanted and make it look good.  That what I wanted was "dumb and wouldn't look natural and skin wasn't like paper and you couldn't just erase a stupid mistake".  That's a direct quote friends.................. the A$$ had the cajohnes to tell me to "rethink" my tattoo.  Told me I should have thought a head and we could have made my tigger bigger and he could have then wrapped around.  I stood there dumbfounded.  I just looked at him and the best I could come up with was to call him an a$$hole and walk out.  I sat in my car and was terribly hurt.  I have never been treated like that ever before.  All I want is the tail of my tigger to be extended in big goofy loops around my ankle with a butterfly on the end at a spot I want with another couple of butterflies around the tail.  No, it will not look stupid.  No, it will not look dumb  Yes, it wasn't as intricate as he would have wanted to do and it wasn't a big money tat for him so he decided to be rude to me.    I will take my money and my design elsewhere and he doesn't realize the extent of the money he's lost for his business.  I have another artist that will do my ankle this next week.

We're headed to a bbq over at Justin and Tika's later today.  After Joe comes home and takes a nap!  I'm gonna sit here and scrapbook for a while.  The books coming along nicely.  Nothing intricate, just slapping pictures in a book with some design thought.  Saving the good stuff for the pictures I take in July. 

And yes, I will be taking my camera along when I come to LA in May and the girls reunion in July and scrapbooking all those pictures too!  That's going to be a fun bunch to do!

Outta here................ Shower time and then making my protein smoothie!  (I'm addicted to those now.  What a great way to get in 30gms of protein right at the start.   Protein poweder, Special K protein drink mix, frozen fat free/sugar free vanilla yogurt, and a handful of frozen berries or fruit.  Yum.

Ok I have you coming in May not in July.  Did I totally mess up?  I am sorry about your tatoo person.  That was not nice at all.  People can be so rude and it makes me nuts.  I don't know what happened to  the old saying "treat others the way you want to be treated".  And what kind of Fat Free Sugar free yogurt do you use in that?  Do you take regular yogurt and freeze it or is this some icecream thing?  I need to do something new for breakfast as I am having horrible time getting in protein.  Always have.  Well my dear enjoy your day.  And If I got the date wrong let me know as I will be prepared for you in May.

No, you didn't mess up  I typed before fully awake.  I am coming in May.  Going to girls weekend in Mt. Shasta in July.  Brain and fingers are not talking right.   As for the yogurt, I do both depending on mood.  Frozen yogurt "ice cream" is not exactly sugar free..............it's no sugar added.  The other is just plain vanilla yogurt and I freeze it.  Just a scoop. 

Good Morning Janine and Cali Crew!

It is a lovely morning here today. I was able to sleep in yesterday and this morning until after 8am which feels great! Yesterday D and I took Miss Lilly to PetSmart for her first time to size her for a choke chain. She was not too sure she liked being there. My guess is it was a totally new experience for her. The good thing is she is a great rider in the car so we can haul her little canine butt all over with us!  Came home and waited for my nephew Jason and his fiance Anna to come over. Spent the afternoon with them and then watched BOLT last night. Great animated film by the way.... two thumbs up from Movie Critics D & S!
    
Today a couple errands this morning as soon as I get it in gear. This afternoon D is going with our BFF Neal to see the spring LA Gay Mens Chorus concert and I am doing that gardening and a couple other chores around here. Liily will be here to help me while Joe and Linc lay on the patio and snooze those lazy old dogs!

As usual a fantastic shout out good morning to all the Cali group.  You just amaze me how you remember everything ^_^

Celebrated our annivarsary at Sizzler, thank you very much ^_^  I admit I snuck over to stage 3 for a trial run...1/4c tomato basil soup w/a dab of cheese, 3 baked shrimp and 4-5 bites of plain bake potato...took over 30 minutes to eat...but OMG..it was soooo good!  the manager, Aloofa, is just wonderful...I ordered 1skewer of shrimp and the potato...she sent over the complete dinner and still only charged me $4.29! as if it was ala cart!  Needless to say, there are 6 shrimp in the refrig (Lon ate 3 LOL) and the potato was left behind ;-) The nutritionist is suppose to call Monday to ok advancing to stage 3...do I tell her I cheated?  LOL

Spent yesterday making a dent in the garage...would you believe I found 5 motorcycle helmets!!!  Any bikers out there need one?  LOL  Goodwill got a bulk load of stuff...and the garbage cans got the rest.  At least I can now walk back to the freezer without breaking my neck.  Went to WalMart (or as Lon calls them< wallyworld>) and bought some pansys and marigolds for planting in barrel planters today. Need to find something to get me outside; the darn wind has come up again so scooter ride is out.  If I get real ambitious, I'll tackle the backyard lawn as Lon's knees are acting up again and the grass doesn't care...it just keeps growing!

The scales keep moving down so I guess I'm doing ok.  I could go back to work tomorrow..but hey, I'm not that stupid..or dedicated or loyal or something!  I am sooo enjoying this time off and when I do go back...it's just in time to jump into our busy season which won't let up until October.

Thanks for the shout out Janine! No, I haven't done any riding yet. I have the seat tore off and I re doing it and there are a couple other things I want to do to it first and I still have to buy a new pair of leathers.

Rhonda, I have been meaning to tell you how hot your new avatar is!!! Wow, you look wonderful.
I am in a pissy mood today...I HATE wind and we are having advisory until 5 am tomorrow! Grrr!! Wind just makes me very edgy (part of the reason I no longer live in SO NV).
Check out the grand babies pics that I posted. I have to say they are 2 beautiful babies!!
I want to go work in the garden it is getting to be planting season...Yummmm fresh tomatoes!
