Thanks Nancy! I used to make a new batch of hats every spring . . . I don't do sun well . . . and I've been know to sell them off our heads (particularly at Disneyland!)

I also got a little hat for my grandaughter . . . and decorated hers too . . . she looked at the big hat and said "it has 3 flowers, and I only have 2 - can you fix mine?" No shortcuts there!

first off..Janine,those grandkids are precious! What cuties ^_^

I had a good weekend, getting some barrel planting accomplished with pansys and marigolds, started spring cleaning on the garage, and cleaned out some more blouses from the closet. I should buy stock in Goodwill...I donate enough stuff! LOL Enjoyed dinner Saturday nite when granddaughter took us to Sizzler for our 10th anniversary.

I'm down to my last week of staying home...boy, this 'retirement' preview sure could be easy to get use to! Today I'll be finishing up the pansy/marigold planting..this time in the flower beds between the roses and then if this darn wind dies down enough, I'll tackle the backyard. Yesterday was just too windy..it swirls in a circle in my backyard and hits ya from all sides :-( Of course, my dogs will be impatiently waiting for their daily walk and I also want to get back on the treadmill now that we have placed it out in the garage...one of the reasons for the spring cleaning in the first place LOL

Good Morning Cali,

LB Coffee was great. Enjoyed everyones company the short time I was there. Had to take a cab to another meeting I had in LB. That was fun also.
Sunday, I slept in (for a change) and did not make it out of the house until about 12:15. Went to two lys , then came home.
