Non-Flavor Protein
Hey girlie! ((hugs))
It must have been BeneProtein. I've never tried it but I have heard that drugstores carry it in their online but I gather it is hard to find in the brick and mortar stores. That said, I could be wrong as I've never tried to buy it.
The unflavored whey protein powder that I use is by Jay Robb. I bought it at the Vitamin Shoppe, specifically at the location near Cedars:
101 North Fairfax Ave.
Los Angeles, CA 90036
Phone: 323-936-6839
Store Hours: Monday-Saturday 9-9, Sunday 11-6
However, I would definitely call and check first before schlepping out to the store.
Also, if you want to try it first, I can give you a few scoops of mine in a baggie.
There is also a company called Unjury that makes an unflavored whey.
The thing with ALL of the unflavored whey proteins is this--they all tend to "dilute" the flavor of the food you add them to, so you may want to boost the flavor. For example, when I use the unflavored whey in a savory dish, I add more seasonings than I normally would to compensate--garlic, herbs, salt, etc.
Hope this helps. If you need more info, you know how to reach me and you can always call too!
