Good Morning Janine & Cali friends,

I am so glad it Tuesday!...woooowooooo!!! This has been a crazy week, so far. I had so much fun @ the LB coffee. I know I didn't stay very long, but I had to do some shopping. I had to buy a dress for a bridal shower. Well I went to Macy's and was looking for a dress and what a surprise I got. I got a Calvin Klein dress in size 14. WOW! OMG! I haven't worn a size 14 since I was in 5th grade..lol So ofcourse I had to buy it. Well the rest of the weekend I just did some grocery shopping & reading.

I have the funniest story, I went to the grocery store on Sunday. Well I was at Stater Bros, walking the aisles. Then I spotted him, the hot looking meat man. I noticed he was checking me out, so I gave him a little look too. I felt like I was 23 again..even though I am 33..lol I finished my shopping and thought, "I have to talk to this man", so I went back to the meat dept. I was waiting to be helped by him, but ofcourse he was busy helping someone else. So the other clerk helped me. I felt like an idiot because I had to buy some steaks that cost of $15.00 even thought I hate red meat...lol But those two guys must have been talking to each other when I wasn't around because the guy that was helping me, kept looking at me weird..lol Then after I ordered my meat, he asked me, "Do you need any seasoning" with a quirky smile. I really felt like a dork. then I proceeded to tell him, "No, not today" So I took my steaks and left..omg! The moral of the story is "Don't flirt with the man that works in the meat dept because it will cost you $$$ on meat you don't eat!..lol But it was fun to flirt and to be flirted with. 

Well the rest of the week is going to be pretty easy. I spent last night reading "Twilight" I am OBSESSED!!!...OMG!!! What an amazing book. Vampire love, "Sigh" , I'm in love with Edward Cullen. I can and can't wait to finish the books. I want to know what happens next in the next three saga's but then I secretly don't want the love story to end. It's a love hate relationship with these books!..lol

I have school this week, if I can only make through another class of English Lit, thank goodness we just finished Hamlet. I was so disappointed! Nine people died, including Hamlet. And poor, poor Ophelia, she just wanted to marry Hamlet since she gave it up. But no, he killed her father and drove her to go crazy! Then I have another class of Philosophy, Hume, is so complicated! But I can make it through this week cause nezt week is SPRING BREAK! Yeah!!! I can't wait!

You are awsome, how do you manage to get it all done! lol well thanks for the complimment on my baby boy Brody. He had to get 4 shots yesterday and a blood test (all part of regular physical). Poor guy my 6 year old had to do the blood test too, he didnt even flench! Hes such a big guy! lol any way Today should be good and laid back not much to do. Oh and did you get a chance to look at the pictures from Warrens race? check them out there cute!  Later, Robin

Wow, I sure look forward to the day I can put together a post like Janine's!  It's still difficult for me to post anything, I am much more comfortable lurking.

This is a busy week up in Ventura with Dr.'s appointments for the whole family.  I did manage to squeeze in an hour & a half workout yesterday, broken up into tiny chunks thruout the day.  My husband gave me a total gym for our 10th anniversary on Friday, so I am starting to use that.  It's not as easy as I thought it would be!

What a shout out Janine...just amazing.  Got all my little pansys/marigolds planted yesterday and Lon trimmed up the roses so the flower bed really looks nice. While I love working in the flower beds...I discovered 'muscles'? that I didn't know I had.  I am soo sore!  Didn't think I stretched or reached all that much; guess I was wrong LOL

Today will be a laid back day....unless I get ambitious and decide to start tackling our back porch.  I'm afraid over the winter it has become the 'catch-all' place for carving wood and other odds and ends.  Can't even get to the patio table or our carving table...both are covered with 'stuff'! LOL  As soon as the weather warms up enough, we move outside to do our carving and with our annual exhibitor show coming up in June we both need to get cracking and finish something for judging.

Good morning Cali,

I have had a hectic week so far and it is only Tuesday.  I was at it early again today 5 am instead of 4 like yesterday.  One extra hour of sleep was great.  I am now back at my desk trying to sort out my staff's problems, (seems like like I always have to do this).  My husband and daughter just left for the park, wish I could go too--but someone has to bring home the bacon.
