I got a surgery date....woohoo

Okay it's official. I am having surgery May 6th at the Kaiser in Fresno. I am soooo excited. I go today for my chest xray and ekg. I meet with my surgeon again on the 10th. I just can't imagine how life will be. I have never been thin. I have lost weight before but never ever been thin. When I was in high school (23 years ago) I weighed 140-150. Then I got married and life began. By the time my 2nd child was born I was 200lbs. Then my third child came and I was 240. I lost about 50 lbs after that on the low carb diet but after my divorce I have gained it all back. So disappointed in myself. But now I feel like I have a new beginning. Right now I am 227lbs. The surgeon said I don't have to lose anymore just DON'T GAIN anything. So wish me luck.

Congrats Lisa...you're on your way!  Do exactly what your doc says...be sure to exercise, even if it is just walking everyday...it will help so much in your recovery after surgery ^_^  Good luck with your journey and keep us informed!  You're in the best place to get any questions answered..some one here will have the answer ^_^

That is great!!!! I am so happy for you!!!!!! Your right, you can't imagine how it's going to be, but just wait and see! It is better than I could have dreamed!!! I have never felt this good in all my life!! You will see!!! Trust me, you have one hell of a jorney ahead and you are going to have ups and downs but it is all worth it!!!!!!!
