Thank you so much for your wonderful words and encourgement! It is so good to have a place to go to for answers and support. Being new to this whole process and  less than a month away from surgery, I am just a litlle antsy these days! It feels good to have somewhere to go where I don't have to feel marginalized or criticized. Thank you everyone! I so look forward to getting to know all of you!!

Actually I should say good afternoon...spent the morning reading and trying to finish up a novel on Queen Elizabeth the first.  Still got a chapter or two to go...maybe by tonight.

Janine, you are awesome....are you sure you weren't a motivational speaker or a preacher in your prior lives?? LOL  What a totally inspirational way to start a person's day. 

Today is laid back sorta...gotta finish mowing the back lawn; at least it is a smaller section than what I tackled yesterday.  But I enjoy it and it is good exercise.  Gonna run to Office Max later to pick up a new chair for work so I can take it with me Monday when I return to the old routine.  Can't believe my 'self imposed retirement' is almost up...but I enjoy my job so really am looking forward to getting back and catching up on what has been going on for 3 weeks ^_^

Hope everyone has a good day...enjoy this beautiful weather we're having...and be good to youselves. YOU deserve it!

Good Morning Janine and Cali Friends,

Janine, you have such a great way with words and I so enjoy reading the daily post for my "fix" of up and postive words.

Today, I went to visit the school district that seems interested in my skills.  Met with the Risk Mgr for about an hour and a half and that went very well.  They are just waiting for the city to approve the job posting and then I can formally apply.  He hopes that will happen by months end.

I also went to lunch over looking Ocean Beach in SF with my Step Mom this afternoon.  It was a windy day and there were many white caps out in the ocean but it was SO pretty and we had a window seat!

Well that's about it for me.  TGIF tomorrow!

Not much to report here, just wishing it was Friday night and not Thursday night.  I am very sad that tonight is the very last episode of ER.  VERY SAD!
