I am up and not with it this morning--ugh!  Too many early mornings this week.  I am hoping for a simple weekend, San Jose flea market for veggies, time with my daughter and husband and a couple good walks.  Last weekend was all about traveling so glad to be home this one.  Everyone have a great day!

Happy Friday.  Would you believe I have NO plans for this weekend?  I LOVE it!  Of course, in the no plans, I will have to do a Costco run, go shopping with my mother-in-law, go visit my father-in-law and do some laundry.  Oh well, at least I don't have a set schedule.

What happened with your trial run on your possible new job?  I was thinking about that this morning.  Was it what you thought?  Update us when you get a chance.

Hi Rhonda,

Thanks for asking, I had posted on it later in the day on the good morning post yesterday sorry.  The sneak peek as he called it went very well.  He showed me the office and we were in his office for an hour and a half talking shop.  I provided him with some ideas and he was very impressed.

I drove to my step mom's and parked there and took a cab, probably a mile or two away and then took the bus back.  It was a beautiful day (although a little windy) so the 3 block walk was wonderful.  All in all, I know he is very impressed with what I could bring to them and he is fully aware that I know my stuff.  I think it would be a wonderful opportunity and a challenge.  He is waiting for the city to approve the job, kinda weird but that's how they do it there.  He said he would call me as soon as the job was posted and I told him I looked forward to hearing from him.

So that's it in a nutshell.  I will keep you posted as I hear more.

TGIF!  I have little planned this weekend.  An eight mile run on Saturday and I will get a very overdo mani/pedi on Sunday.

Thank you...Its Freakin Friday!! WooooWoooo!!! I am so excited!! I can officially say...I am on SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow! That felt so good! After last nights long Philosophy lecture, I didn't think I would make it. Wow Three hours on Philosophy..who knew it was such a BORING subject!! I swear, I will never, ever, ever take another Philosophy class again!  But anywhoo, today is just another work day for me and I am just going to count down the minutes until it's 4:30, quitting time. As for this weekend, I am going to try to make it to the SD lunch, but I know I need to do some house cleaning as well as some grocery shopping.."hint", "hint" for those of you who have been reading the morning posts during this past week. I found a really hot guy that works at my local Stater Bros, "in the meat dept"...lol I also need to do a little shopping at the mall. I have a bridal shower gift to pick up, that is in two weeks, but since next weekend is Easter, I better do it this weekend. I finally started the Saga 2 book of the Twilight series...Can you say "ADDICT". I am so addicted to this series. I think I read almost 250 pages last night. It's a love hate realtionship. I love the books and want to know everything in them, but I don't want to get to the end becuase it's the end..."Sigh" Vampire Love...mmmmmm..what's a girl to do?

Not much going on here we will see what the weekend brings... Oh today im going to watch my 6 year old in the Spring Hat Parade at school that will be cute. Oh my husband asked me out on a DATE!! OMG how nice its been awhile LOL. Well guys and Gals have a great friday!!

Morning Cali . . . OMG it's 9 AM and I'm just getting on this site . . . life is just getting in the way!

I'm working at Costco on Saturday (maybe I'll see Nikki again when she shops!).  I'm scheduled for a 4 mile walk Saturday (after a bit of a rest). Sunday have to get a much needed mani/pedi . . .and then go get fitted for decent walking shoes because I'm getting hot spots and have one big blister already from my crappy shoes . . . so I can't wait for the clinic at the end of the month for a fitting.  Then I also have to do a 3 mile walk.  At least they give us a weekly schedule of how to work up our endurance!  How the heck I'm going to be able to work in an 18 mile walk one day, followed by a 15 mile the next I have NO idea . . . good thing it will be light out late!

Good Morning All,

Today, I work half day and leave around 1 pm.  I have a doctor's appt. this afternoon and then I might go out to Santa Anita to pick up my goody bag for the Santa Anita Derby 5K.  I might do a quick 30 minute run this evening. 
Santa Anita Derby 5K is on Saturday.  I probably won't be able to stay to bet on any ponies.  I have another meeting that afternoon.  Sunday, I plan to go to church.
