Good Morning Janine and Cali Friends.

WOW, Janine, what a post, you are the best.  AND Rhonda, not only the Popcorn Queen but not the Organizing Officianato.  You are a remarkable woman!  You are always welcome and my home, how about a trip to Northern Cali?  I need some help organizing my kitchen!  LOL

Well, the day yesterday was wonderful.  We did the Costco thing in the morning and it was one of the smoothest runs yet, I guess we beat the crowds.  Found some good stuff and even bought a couple of tops in ladies sizes and they fit!  WHOO HOO!  Came home and hubby and I walked over to the convelescent hospital to visit my father-in-law.  He's doing better, I know he is itching to get home but he sure needs to regain more strength.   My mother-in-law came for dinner last night too.

Today, Barb is going to be the garden fairy!  I am going to copper band my fruit trees, give them a good feeding, give the front and back a good dousing with Miracle Grow and then nuke the place for snails!  UGH the little varmits!

Ron will graduate from Cal with a degree in Politial Science.  He really would like to stay in Educational mentoring, counseling or transfer assistance at the college/university level so God willing, he will land a job somewhere.

As far as my job hunt goes, the city of SF has to approve the position and he hopes that will be done at the end of the month, then he will call me to apply.  I know he was very impressed with what he has seen and heard from my professional contacts, so I am just waiting it out.  In the meantime, I will apply at a couple of local things here that I have seen too.  I have a positive feeling about things and for some reason I'm just not too worried.... yet.

I sure hope everyone has a wonderful day and the week ahead is kind to you too.

Hope everybody had a great saturday! Ya Im a stylist but I dont work, I stay at home with the boys.  Amanda's hair turned out really good (better than I thought it would lol ) any way this has been a very slow weekend really nothing exciting, next weekend we will be going to Disneyland on Easter that will be fun my kids have never been.
Well have a wonderful SUNDAY everybody!

Janine! When do you sleep?  Posting at 3:30am? I sure hope you were able to go back to bed and get some additional sleep. Thank you for the shout out...you are just awesome!  Rhonda may be the Popcorn Queen and Organizer Bunny...but, YOU are the Memory Genius! 

Yesterday was an ok day...paid bills and finally got in a decent scooter ride, tho it was a *****illy...only got up to 69deg.  Going to church this morning, then plan on coming home and making a serious dent in the clothes closet. I need to find out what clothes fit and don't fit, especially in the work clothes area.  I've been wearing jeans for 3 weeks...and they're not allowed at work except on Fridays LOL  Been having some fun hitting the thrift stores for smaller! sizes, but don't know where I'm at size wise so will just have to sort thru it all.  I was surprized how frustrated I got trying on clothes at Salvation Army and couldn't find anything that fit...it was so easy when I knew it had to be 22-24...now it seems I'm all over the map...and no 2 brands seem to meet the same standard of sizing.   I finally gave up and came home...empty handed :-(

I also need to get up and get back to the walking...or getting on the bicycle...I've really been lax in that area...and the scales show it :-(  One of the reasons I look forward going back to work tomorrow is my co worker will walk with me at lunch...we complete a circle around the block twice which is 1.2 miles.  I hate walking alone (even with the dogs)...I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb...all goes back to childhood issues and food...but it's no excuse for the present day.  Scales won't move if I don't!

So anyway, that's it for me.  Janine, sooo happy your friend came out of the fire ok...and sorry to hear of the distruction that was caused.  Barb, glad to hear your father in law is on the mend and soon to be home.  I'm sure that is a big relief to all of you.  And to our soon to be Big Losers...congrats on your surgeries!  I just know you will both do fantastic!  Everyone be good to yourselves! You all deserve it!!

Seriously, posting at 3:36?  Funny thing is I was headed to bed and saw your post, lol!  Had a great time at SD lunch yesterday and met some really nice folks.  It was a huge group, 19 of us!!  Problem is, it's hard to get a chance to talk to everyone.  But it was nice to see both new and familiar faces.

Just got back from a road trip to Stateline (outlets, woot) and the Grand Canyon, and the ride back was wild with the winds.  Janine, I'm glad your home and your friend's home are okay.  Oh, btw, Rhonda you should contract out.  I'm sure a lot of folks would love to have you come down and organize their homes/offices!!

Well, everyone have a great week!  Can't wait for this week to be done and the following week is Spring break for me!!
