After nearly 5 years, I FINALLY got approved and have a date!

Nearly 5 years ago I first talked to my PCP about WLS. I've been denied several times by three different carriers.

I started with healthnet Jan 1st and was approved by March 17th.

I'm scheduled for surgery April 23rd with Dr. Mir Ali @ Fountain Valley Regional.

I'm SUPER happy!

To anyone out there having a difficult time with their INS getting approved... DONT give up! Keep fighting for what you want and feel is best for you. It's been a long hard road but I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

But I feel like I just cant prepare myself enough. Im worried I'm not ready for some reason. I mean Im ready I just feel like Im forgeting something. Maybe if I made a checklist then I can be assured I have everything I need. lol
