Yep it is the dreaded Monday, but in my eyes there is only 4 more days until spring break!

So Happy Monday all you people who have to work and those of you who are already on spring break...I surely hope that you are going to enjoy your week!!!!

 

So lets here it you guys...what did you all do this weekend? I know the LB'ers had a ball...what about the rest of you?

I know I am feeling very stuck up and conceited about my new workspace...it looks sooooooooooooooooooo purty I want to move in here! LOL Thanks a bazillion Rhonda you rock!!! I also got to go to the Indian Wells Art Festival yesterday...ONG I said to Jeff why am I am not working? It gave me some motiviation!

So come on..this is short...lets get it going and for sure remember those who are rolling into surgery today and this week...and you newbies...keep walking sipping and doing all that good stuff your doc told you to do!!!

Good Morning Janine and Cali,

We had the best time at the Del Mar car show.  My child is truly a product of her parents.  She didn't flinch at all by the cars reving their motors.  Mom was more bothered than she was.  Needless to say her dad was quite proud and excited.  I think there are going to be alot of cars in her future.  We are already planning a car show visit here in LB for june.

Today I have to go get a cortisone shot in my hand and get some sort of brace or splint to keep my wrist from coming out of its socket.  Not looking forward to this at all.  I need to be able to use both hands. 

My next class starts today and it is just as crazy as the last but I think will be a lot more manageable than the last one. At least I'm on break.

Awwww Monica, that sounds painful. I hope that gets better soon! On a lighter note, Miss Jordyn does sound like she is gonna be a future car buff. Lol!

Hey Monica are you going to see that movie about the cars too? I think it is cool that Jordyn likes cars like her parents for sure.

Ava is the same way with her daddy about cars....she is out in the garage arranging and rearranging tools. Yesterday when we went there for dinner, she had the tape measure out going around this truck James is building for off road racing or something...and I was laughing my head off...she was just busy! She likes being out there with her daddy!

Monica I surely hope that you do okay with the shots...I know that is painful and I hope the docs can get you repaired soon!

Slept only 2 hours last night. I hate when that happens darn it! Oh well, I will just lay here for a couple of hours staring @ my darling Dorien (my 4 year old son) while he is sleeping. Its the only time I can truly enjoy him. LOL!

Awww thanks Janine. I don't have my WiFi linked to my laptop at my new residence yet, so I'm using my cellphone (which is a pain) to access the Internet. I haven't gone anywhere

Have you tried Valerian Root?  It stinks like , but it is non-addicting.  You can get it at any health food store.  Just don't touch it with you hands.

Good Morning Calif......

Yappers, I turned on the computer this morning. Ugh!! I am up early because I have lots to do.

I need to go and get paint this morning, because I am having my house painted. I would have done this yesterday, but the place was closed, but they are opened early this morning. (6:30) I need a few other things also.

Then I am going on a hike with a friend. We think its going to be about 14 miles. Not sure since we have not done it, nor could she find the trail on the map. Or maybe we are going to mountain goat it and just have fun. I will take my Garmen GPS in case we get lost. lol...

DeeDee is going to take Frankie to the vet. We got him fixed a few days ago, and now his booboo area is all red and mean looking, he wont walk but a few steps before he sits down and whines. I feel so bad for him, and there is nothing I can do for him. I will call the vet and make sure they will let her take him in with a signed check from me. He has stopped eating and trust me, he does not have extra weight to lose. He only weighs 4.2 pounds. I told a friend last night, They took his smile away when they took his nuts. He looks so sad, I was almost crying last night. I am very scared for him. He does not have the weight to get sick and stop eating. The little shi* needs to eat. I spent most the night wake or waking up, and ckecking on him. He seem to sleep most of the night, so it was just me freaking out. I guess I make a bad mom. I should have seen this before yesterday.

Oh, I guess I should tell ya about the run on saturday. Cyndi and I had a great time, got tons of pictures, and met some really nice people. A few of them we have seen at other runs, and after spending some time talking, we will see them at the other runs we have planned already. I was able to run the frist two miles with out much problem, but the last mile, my shoulder hurt to much for me to do to much running, so we walked. We left just as the 3rd race was in the saddling area. I was upset that they scrachted ZDay. That was who I wanted to win the race. A very long shot. I know that Helen and Kristen tried to call, but we turned off the phones, and had a day way from everyone. Our time was around 52 minutes. I have not looked at the times yet, so that is by my watch, I guess we should ad a few minutes to that for true time.

OK time to get moving and start my day. I wish you all a great day. Be kind and smile even when it hurts. :-D
