Rise and Shine . . . it's Monday Morning!

Morning Cali!  Sounds like everyone had a busy and eventful weekend!  So many people doing so many things . . .how fun is that?  Sure hope all is well out your way with the fires Janine . . .I haven't seen the news all weekend, so I don't know how things are - just hope everyone is safe and sound!

Busy Busy Busy weekend for me . . . got my shoes for walking on Friday night . .. worked both days at Costco - walked two miles last night after work . . .grandbabies made birdhouses at Home Depot's Kids Clinic and painted them at home . . . and spent hours with my team (by internet) with fundraising ideas and shoe talk . . . we are all novices at training for big walks and what to wear , yadda yadda yadda . . . but I've got new energy and drive for the first time in a line time.

Have a great day everyone - I have to get my car serviced too . . . like I have time for that lol . .. but next to Miss Rhonda . . . all I do is sit on my A$$!

Morning Chris and I am sorry that I posted over you!!! I did not see the post and decided I had better get it rolling!

You surely do have a very busy week and I am telling next to all of us...we look like a bunch of lazy asses next to Rhonda....I do not know how she does it for sure!

 

Hey I was going to ask you...are you going to Silverwood this year? I cannot go camping because of surgery, but I might consider driving up there for a day to see all of you!

Hi there . . .no worries about posts . . . I always figure someone out there may be doing the same thing at the same time . . .but as long as we get it going!

OF COURSE I'm going to Silverwood . . . how could anyone miss that adventure with a bunch of loonies like myself!  I was nervous as hell last year because I hadn't met anyone before going . . . but I was comfortably scratching my nose with my middle finger within 1/2 hour.  Plus . . . there are miles of roads and trails for my training . . . walk walk walk walk walk!  Hope you can come out!  I'd like to finally meet you too!

Sounds like you had a productive weekend and will be the same going forward.  I love the idea of the walk and want to do the 3 day walk one of these days in honor of my mom who died of brest, lung and liver cancer in 2001.

Hi Chris...may I send my mom's pic also?  I lost her just 11 short months ago to Breast metz to the bone and liver.  This month is very painful for me as it was the last full month she was with me and the last time I was able to communicate with her, before the 2 day coma, was my birthday, April 29.  She passed away less than 3 days later.

Youo go girl on your training, sounds like you guys are setting a good course of walking and getting it together. How fun. I would love to do that one, when I start breathing better I hope I Can.
