I Got the Best Easter Gift Ever and It was Early Too!

O.k.  I will give it up.  I got a 4 month old Baby Girl.  We are calling her Awna as we can't pronounce her real name, or at least none of the kids can!  lol.  She is so beautiful.  I can't wait to put some pictures up of her.  We don't know alot about here, and honestly I cant openly share too much other that she is beautiful and has the sweetest personality ever.  It is like she was meant to be with us and she so enjoys being with us.  She is also a sleeper, and that is the best thing of all.  I had to go out last night and get her her own personal blankie as every baby needs one, and of course a few other things as when they do come to Miss Rhonda's house, they usually come with nothing. She took one look at me and just laughed and laughed, now I know I am funny looking so I don't need the comments there, but that little laughed let me know this was meant to be.  Please say a prayer for her and her family, if you have a moment.  I will love this little one if she is with me for a day or a lifetime, of course we prefer a lifetime, but we never know.  Thanks everyone for sharing my joy with me, she is such a little blessing!

Hey, Rhonda!

You and Janine were posting concurrently so that's why you didn't see her post.  So we get twice as much TGIF tidings this week and, considering it's a holiday weekend, that is a marvelous thing to happen.

I'm getting my hair trimmed tomorrow because my bangs have gotten too long, I'm going to a Brazilian barbecue restaurant with my brother on Sunday, and I'm putting together a bunch of home furnishing in boxes as part of my spring cleaning kick.  I have a feeling that I'm going to have to call for a dumpster again to get rid of the boxes but I might hold off long enough to determine what else will be going and call 1-800-GOT-JUNK instead.  But my house and home is going to look gorgeous for entertaining when the spring cleaning is complete.

Oh, yeah, early tomorrow morning, I am taking my father to the airport to go visit my sister's children and be the designated caretaker for my 15 year old nephew since, oddly, both my sister and her boyfriend have business trips out of town next week.

I am hoping for a nice day on Sunday I too want to BBQue.  It will be a small crowd just 5 of us.  It is a shame non of my family is close, my husbands is but they are not much for Easter get together.  Have a great day!

I think you started something Rhonda, I have spent the week spring cleaning and so proud of my accomplishments.  Today is the last day.  I have to do finishing touches on all of the rooms and then get all the trash collected into the bin and get the laundry done and I'm finished.  Then if I finish the reading for my class, do the quiz and the reflective log, I will have the weekend to myself to rest and recooperate from spring break just in time to go back to work.

Morning!  Well mine wasn't so good . . . seems we have no internet at home . . . and what is a girl supposed to do at 5 AM and no connectivity?  OMG!  So I'm posting from work . . . hope to get it figured out soon . . . we think it's the modem . . . ughhhhh

Well I couldnt post on Janines and not yours so im going to tell you the same thing ...LOL Easter morning we are taking the kids to DISNEYLAND! YAY they have never been. Saturday we are having the egg hunt at my moms for the kids. Should be a fun weekend.

Happy Easter to you all,
I'm going to have a great weekend after being so sick all week.  I am finally getting back to eating and my exercising, slowly but surely. I have an exciting weekend planned.  Today, lunch with my ex's mother and sister for my m-in-law's birthday.  Then a haircut and color can't wait since my hair is falling out and am in need of a new do. Then off to church to see the children's groups Easter program. Tomorrow, my grandsons baseball game and color eggs. And on Easter, off to church to hear my sons fiancee sing and then to my oldest sons house for a fabulous Easter party with my family and my d-in-laws family.  Always a blast, fun, food, games and socializing.  This year the main thing for me at the party is not the food, but my baby granddaughters 1st Easter.  Can't wait.  I hope everyone has a beautiful and eventful Easter.  Keep in mind the real reason for Easter.   Love & Hugs,  Donna

HAPPY EASTER WEEKEND!!!

As for me I get to celebrate two Easters I'm Greek Orthodox so our easter really isn't until next sunday the 19th. So this weekend we are heading out to Modesto for a few days and we will be back on Sunday to spend easter with my husband's family at the beach. (I love the beach) Then next week we will spend Easter with all the fellow Greeks in Calastoga for a huge picnic!!! Really excited Easter is one of my favorite holidays. Hope everyone has a great weekend and a fantasic Easter!!
