Good Morning Cali
Good Morning Janine & Cali friends,
Well today brings me a house full of family. I am celebrating Easter of Saturday with all my extended family.
Ok, so I thought about what you said about selling myself short. So on Thursday evening, I went to a local Irish Pub, walked in there like I belonged there and took a seat right in the middle of the bar. I ordered my coctail & some dinner & sat there by myself enjoying the environment. It was so refreshing to be able to do that. I never would have done that before when I was 326lbs. I even got a hello from the guy next to me, but I was more interested in my ability to come out of my shell. I did make you proud, cause I looked HOT!! I was wearing my new leopard dress, with sexy heels. It felt amazing!
Hope everyone has a great weekend & Rhonda I am so happy for you. I can't wait to meet that little girl @ LB coffee.
Happy Easter everyone,
Jules
It was just a bad week with me getting sick, her surgery and the dog dying. I am ready for a new week!!
No plans for Easter this year. When my Grandma and pa were still with us we always had a huge get together. I miss that.
Have a great week end everyone.

I'm feeling kind of sluggish. I hate not feeling like doing much. I just want to have some energy. There is so much that I could be doing. But just a simple trip to the pharmacy wears me out. Sometime today I am going to make it outside for a walk. It'll be a slow walk, but at least I'll be up and moving. I went to church last night for a Good Friday service and by the time I got home I was absolutely drained. Hopefully I'll make it through church tomorrow ok. I might need a nap afterwards.
Other than all that though, I am recovering quite nicely. My pain meds are still my best friend, but I am slowly weaning off of them. I'm just trying to enjoy this time that I have to rest and relax for the next month. I don't want to waste it!
Happy almost Easter everybody!
Jenn :)
This morning found me running 11 miles up and over the hill. I remember the first 2 times I ran that hill, I thought I was going to DIE. Today, I went up and over with no problem. What an amazing accomplishment this training program has been for me. Honestly, if there is anyone out there that want to run a marathon do the APLA training program. It has changed my life.
I am excited that we only have 5 more runs but sad that it will be over. ;-(
Today brings us to a 5 year old birthday party. We are going mini golfing. Tomorrow, will be a quite Easter. Lil man will be with his dad so I will just relax for the day.
Thanks Janine for the shoot out and remembering me. ;-)

We've been busy so far today. Did our usual Saturday errands then picked up my Mom and headed into San Luis for Childrens day in the plaza. It was a great event completely catering to the kids. Spent a couple of hours there and had a great time. Tomorrow is Easter bunny day for sammi. I got her a small little basket and just a few eggs to find in the yard. DH has to work so it will just be me and her. Then to Mom's for dinner. It's always better when someone else cooks it. LOL
Thanks for asking about the back. it's not good. He's trying to avoid seeing a nuerosurgeon and I think he should go. He just isn't getting any relief. I honestly don't know how he does it.
Hope everyone has a great Easter Weekend.
Sue

Good Evening Janine and Cali Friends,
Thanks for the wonderful shout out Janine, you're always so much fun! You did share that your husband was a Cal grad too, how cool is that? Ron will graduate with a degree in Political Science. He may return later after he starts working again to get his Educational Masters degree so he could teach at the college level. He really wants to get into Educational Mentoring or counseling and I have to say would be outstanding at it. I am so proud of him.
Our co-worker lunch has been rescheduled as one of them got called into a late morning meeting. So April 20th will be the day. Yee Haw!
Today I attending our John Muir support group WLS meeting, such a wonderful and inspiring group of folks. I so enjoy going to that meeting. I talked about our wonderful OH website and our Cali group.
Then it was "Mammies for Mommy's Day" with the Corricks. My mother-in-law and I always have our mammograms on the same day and then we do lunch and shopping afterwards. This is our 3rd year now and we crack up the office when we go. They love it!
Tomorrow we will go to visit my father-in-law and I will bring him his little Easter basket. He loves his chocolate, so I bought him those 100 calorie candy bars. He doesn't have a weight issue so that's his treat and I sent the rest home with my mother-in-law. No temptations here! Not gonna do it!
I sure hope everyone has a great weekend, Easter, Passover or just family time.
Hugs,
Barb
Thank you for the great shout out Janine. You always make me smile. My oldest daughter Kellie, was here today when I was on the run trying to get out the door with my DH, and she was looking at the website and she said,"Mom, Janine on your OH website has an awesome shout out to all of these people, Does she have a photogenic memory?"
I said she must, because I have to keep going back and reread stuff. Once again you Rock on the Shout Out.
Going to pick up the trailer next weekend. My husband and I are pretty excited, can't wait for our first mini vacation. Lol.
I hope everybody has a Happy Easter tomorrow.
Hugs & Love,

Karen
