Marin County anyone?

Hi All :)

Is anyone here from Marin County or North Bay?

I had my WLS in Concord and that's where my monthly support group meets, but that's a long drive and I would really like to find something closer to home.  If you know of any WLS support groups in Marin (or the North Bay - I'd rather drive to Santa Rosa than to Concord or even to SF), please let me know.

Or if anyone lives in my area and would like to meet up from time to time for a hike and a little supportive chat, I'd be delighted :)

Happy Easter to All :)

Hi Tamsin,

Nope, East Bay here, but I go to the John Muir WLS support group.  Did you go today?  It was a great meeting, as usual.

Anway,  were meeting on May 2nd at Chevy's Pleasant Hill and would love to meet you there.

Hi Barb,

Thanks for your reply!  It takes approx. 1 hr 15 min for me to get from my house to John Muir in Concord -- that's two and a half hrs round-trip, and since I had house guests over the Easter weekend, I just didn't have time to make the trip to the East Bay... :(    That's why I'm hoping to find some folks who live here in Marin (or North Bay).

Thanks for the invite to Chevy's on May 2nd - I would love to come but I'm going to a dog show in Santa Rosa that day (I have a Miniature Pinscher and they're going to have a Min Pin play day - can't pass the opportunity!)

I'm sure that sooner or later I'll have a chance to make it to the support group at John Muir (I love Ann Timberlake, I think she's just the best - I woulnd't have had my RNY if it wasn't for her!).  Look forward to meeting you there, and thanks again for responding!

Best,
Tamsin
