GOOOOOOOD MORNING CALIFORNIA!!!!

Good morning Rhonda and Cali!

Today it has been one week since my surgery!  My surgeon told me not to weigh myself until today.  So, I waited and guess what!?  I'm down 11 pounds!  11 pounds....I can't believe it!  I've almost lost 100 pounds from my highest ever weight, which was in high school.  I'm so ecstatic.  Now, if only I had the energy to go along with it.

Easter was pretty good.  I went to church and barely made it through the service.  Sitting upright is still not a comfortable position for me.  I need to be slightly reclined.  Most of yesterday was spent relaxing.  I lounged in my hammock and in my papasan chair and got to enjoy the beautiful day.  We played some card games and a movie trivia game and then watched Marley and Me.  My big Easter feast consisted of a 1/2 c. of strained cream of chicken soup.  Not too bad.

Hopefully today will go well.

Great shout out Rhonda!!! Mom is doing better and we haven't killed each other ...yet.LOL Didn't do much yesterday just worked in my garden a little and worked around the house a bit.
Right now I have my "Handy Kid" helping on "THE ROOM" (my new bedroom). And will make a run to the dump...oh fun, fun!!

Afternoon Rhonda and Cali gang
boy,go away for a day or two and it takes HOURS to catch up with all the postings here RFLO 

Had a super nice quiet weekend and Easter...just Lon and I..went up to our 5th wheel we have parked at 1000 trails...such nice weather, nice next door neighbors...and just so peaceful.  We'll be gone again next weekend but this time to join up with our rv'ing carvers group.  Can't wait to see their faces: they camped last month while I was in surgery the same day. They sent the cutest card...one signed it: get your skinny butt back here...we miss you at cards (or your money). LOL

Had a minny WOW moment while camping....took the dogs for their walk, the usual 3/4 mile...but this time, inspite of the ups and downs of the hills, I wasn't out of breath nor did I have to stop and rest half way back!!  How cool is that???/!!

Easter was nice Disneyland was crowded but the kids still had a blast! My baby Brody actually fell asleep on Pirates of the Carribean funny huh! and my Big guy Warren absolutely loved all the "fast rides" lol oh to be a kid again. Oh and we saw Tommy Lee i the drive thru of McDonalds across the street from Disneyland but I was too scared to ask for a picture. Today I feel like CRAP!!!!!!!! Sick Sick SIck! so I will talk you all later. Hope you all enjoyed Easter and Have a Great rest of the day.

Good Afternoon Rhonda and Everyone!  I hope you all had a great Easter.  We had a great time with the grandkids.  they stayed the night so the Easter Bunny came to my house!  I will have to post some pictures for you guys!  The kids had a blast!

Great shout out miss Rhonda!!! Glad you had such a great Easter! Mine was nice too... awesome church service, lunch with my parents and hubby at Valley View Casino buffet, and then work. Stupid me forgot my badge though and had to drive all the way home and back so was an hour and 15 minutes late, UGH, I was SOOOO MAD at myself!!!
As for how busy it was, NOT as busy as I expected and I am soooo GLAD!!! It makes me sad when we are busy on important holidays!!  The buffet was busy of course (it ALWAYS is), but the rest of the casino was kind of slow.

Hi Rhonda and Cali-friends...
Here I am...here I am!  Thank you for remembereing me in your shout-out, Rhonda...always makes me feel good to be remembered and see my name..!!
I've been hovering around the boards...just taking a moment or two now and then to catch up.  I've been working on my garden...got the corn in!, next is beans and okra.  I don't like okra..but I grow it for friends...and working on my middle daughter's room.  It's gone from a pig's sty to just a sty..lol  We went and picked out paint colors yesterday,  and wall paper.  Its gonna be so beautiful.  She's a wonderful kid (22).... just messy!  There is still a lot of work to go....I can only clean so long, then I poop-out.  The back gives out. 
I am also keeping my bestfriend at heart..her brother is being taken off life-support today or tomorrow.  He has kidney failure (due to diabetes) and the rest of his organs are failing. He is around 62 I think.  She has a lot of family love and they are gathering today to see him as he crosses over.  Been there done that with my own brother and my mother.  This month is meloncholy for me..my youngest turns 18 this friday and my birthday is on the 29th, but then see the first anniversary of my mom's passing in just 2 weeks.  Sooooooooooo..I am keeping myself busy just to escape...know what I mean?
