I jus****ned to introduce my self, I live in the High Desert of Ca, and I have my surgery date scheduled for May 21st. I am so excited, just looking to make some new friends.

Welcome to greatest forum on the OH web site ^_^  Congratulations  on getting your surgery date....I'm sure you have questions...fire away..some one here will have answers ;-) We're a great bunch of peeps who love to support and encourage anyone on their new life and journey.

Oh yes, I have so many questions. But I should clearify that I am going across the border to get my surgery done. They have sent me my pre-op diet and just trying to find someone locally around me that has the things that I need. The protein shake, and vitamins. Did you guys have to go on a liquid diet before hand?

I had the Bypass and its going good ive lost 32 pounds in 7 weeks. It is definatly a huge change though lol. good luck, Robin

Rhonda here,  I am in Hesperia.  We have enough OH'rs here to have our own support group!  lol.  Next Monday at 5:30 there is a coffee at the Starbucks on Main just before the 15 fwy.  We should meet there.  All are welcome.  NO problem with getitng your surgery done over the boarder, my doctor is one of the doctors that goes over there and does them too!  We are an accepting group, does not matter what kind of surgery or who did it to us.  We all have the same goal, we just choose different ways to get there!  Welcome to the boards and hope to see you next Monday.

P.S. I am going on vacation and I am due back on Monday I hope I get back in time for the coffee, if not there will be others there that would love to meet you also, but I am going to try my hardest to get there.
