and feeling great! It was so much easier then I expected!
They got me in earlier then expected, so my surgery was at 10 instead of 1

have been drining clear liquids since I got back.  Have had 20 ounces of liquids so far today, trying to take it slow.  Tomorrow I am going to try some protein powder with milk and see how that goes.

Only have a little bit of pain, but taking pain medicine and it is helping!

thank you to everyone for all of your kind words today about my surgert- it means so much to me!

so glad I did it!

Congrats!!
I dont know if the band and the bypass are similar with the milk but I would be very careful with adding milk so soon. It made me very sick and I introduced it in about week 4 . But if your surgeon says so, go for it but just thought I would give you a heads up it was very painful (diahrea...sorry tmi). I now use lactaid fat free milk it works much better for me. GOOD LUCK!!
welcome to your new life!

Congratulations Andrea!  Welcome to the Loser's Bench ^_^  Just remember to take it slow and easy....give your new pouch a chance to heal...you've got a life time ahead of you to 'experiment ;-)
