Hi Maureen,
I'm no doctor but I was looking up stuff from my lab results and then I saw your post. here is what I read about your mono...
Mono is an abbreviation for monocytes. This white blood cell helps the neutrophils fight infections. High monocyte counts indicate infection. It is unlikely that there will be no monocytes and a differential with zero monocytes does not indicate any specific ailment.
I couldn't find anything about your UIBC.

Can't help with the 'monocytes' but I asked my doc about several people coming up with low iron labs...he said that it was perfectly normal...most people will come up low at first blood draw. He said if a person was 'too low', the surgeon would adjust either the calcium w/D or increase the D with a separate pill. Since we get some D from the sun...maybe you should tell hubby you need to spend more time out in that new boat!? LOL Great excuse I think ^_^
