I did VSG on October 8th, and it has changed my life. Wanted to come check in with the California bunch and see if anyone here is from the IE. Would love to meet up for coffee and share experiences, etc....

Hi David and welcome the the CA boards! Yes there are a bunch of us in the IE...although I am out in the desert myself. Congratulations on making the decision to lead a healthy life.

I do know that Katt is hosting a dinner on the 2nd of May....sometimes we do coffee in Redlands that Steve organizes, but life has been hectic lately for a lot of us with other things.

Keep posting on the boards and something will materialize in the area!!!

well I know they did...but I think it has been a long time since they have had a meeting with all the things that have gone in Steve's life....makes it hard ya know!

I cant make it to the May 2nd gathering as I am having surgery on the 23rd and I dont think I'll be up to it just yet. So I plan on going to the next one to meet everyone.

Hi David,

Wow, you have done a wonderful job with your surgery. You are looking good and seem to be happier as well.

We have a OH Group meeting we do once a month in San Dimas. There happens to be a meeting this Saturday @ 10:00 if you would like to come join us. We do have 2 other men that have the Sleeve surgery and we would love to have you join us.
