Happy TGIF

Okay what I want to know is where and the hell did this week go? I mean it is already Friday and I have not done diddly squat for my spring break...oh yeah I did go to Hesperia and got bit by an unknown thing...which is it is okay now.....celebrated Easter....did the grandma thing...and celebrated my oldest son's birthday yesterday (31 and I want to know where did those years go? LOL)...had a history and physical, EKG, chest x-ray where the tech shamelessly flirted with me, and then had the dreaded mamogram for surgery on the 8th....but what I really wanted to do is get the hell out of dodge...okay the Springs!

Oh I did managed to mess up my art room that Rhonda painstakingly organized....well it is still organize but dragged out tons of mosaicing stuff and managed to finish 2 pots that I had started a while back and then start on this metal can I got at the second hand store...it is almost half way done and looks pretty cool. My friend said I should not use it for a trash can that it was intended for....maybe I will put a plant in it...or give it away like I usually do with my stuff! LOL

I guess I am not up enough on the boards to do a shout out....I do better doing them when I am working for some reason. I do know that you are all doing super terrific with your wl and I am very happy for all of you!!!

Joy I have to tell you that what you wrote about your doctor was priceless...lost weight...like duh!!!! ha ha

So what are all your plans for the weekend? I know it is going to be some nice weather here....90's for us and heard that it might pop triple digit by early next week! I hope to get a ride in on my motorcycle is about it or maybe hightail it up to Joshua...don't know yet....all I know is I have to be prepared for Monday at some point!!!

Good Morning Calif.........

I had a great warm more then welcome vistor last night. DD and my other sister went to get dinner. I was sitting there talking with my aunt Mo when the dogs went hay wire. What the heck!! SHUT UP!!!!!!!!! I was thinking DD was home and the kids was happy to see her. I am she had been gone a whole 10 mins. I guess they could get all jazed about her return. The door was locked so I jumped up to unlocked it, since she was bring my dinner also. LOL But it was not her. It was a wonderful friend that I was overjoyed to tears to see. It was a great surprize. He only got to spend a about 30 mins before he had to get back to work. My jaw hurts from smiling and laughing.

I am off this weekend, and Gosh am I happy about that. YAY!!! for me. I wish I was about to sleep in, but already know I wont be able to do that.........lol

Morning Janine and Cali gang . . . well for me it is TGIF . . . and I'll be happy to put this day behind me . . . although yesterday was quite a bit better than the day before . .. so I might live through these two weeks.

My knee is outta whack . . . had to get off a broken down trolley in a place with no decent step down and wrenched it .  . . felt it for sure when I went out walking at lunch yesterday . . . so I gotta rest it a bit before going back and trying to walk 5 miles . . . bummer . . .

I get to do the Costco thing all weekend . . .but have dinner with some friends on Saturday night when I get done . . . yea - that will be fun - Have to go to Disneyland on the 5th with my travel buddy for her birthday . . . and going again on the 31st with the FFLIRP (can't remember that name exactly) - so I might as well get a pass . . . you can make payments on them now (are they nice to figure that one out!) . .. then a week in Yosemite and I have an arthritis walk on 6-6 . . . that's about it for now!

Well it sounds like you had quite a full week.  I can say that even though I worked this one did seem to fly by.  I am glad it's friday.  It has been a busy one and I haven't done alot of work for my class this week.  So that will be my weekend, finishing this weeks work and getting a jump on the next

Good morning Janine and Cali,

I think as I get older the weeks just seem to disappear!  So I am with you on that one.  I am glad it is over, been very hectic.  At least my DH got a call for an interview!!! Maybe he will get this one.  He has been to a few but everyday there seems to be more competition for the jobs that are available.  Say a prayer for him.  Everyone have a great day, it looks to be nice one.

Mornin' crew!  It's Cool April Nights week / weekend here in town.  All the old cars are coming out of the woodwork!  Tonight is the cruise and Jayden and I have our spot all staked out! 

Tomorrow is round-up.  I have the potato salad all made, 2 tri tips bought and a bunch of waters and drinks ready.   Sunday is my trip to the Giants game.  Swinging into Sacramento to pick up a table and chair for my friend.  That's it. 

Off and running.  Friday morning rush-hour is about to happen!

I am back on the board!!!!

TGIF!!!  I am so happy; boy it has been some kind of a week.  I had a wonderful vacation, but since we have been back it has been so crazy.  As some of you know, I have had issues with my youngest daughter.  Well, she has found a job in San Diego, but she still doesn't have a place to live.  Right now she has been living in a motel.  My husband and I have agreed to let the baby come live with us, until our daughter can get her life straightened out and get a place to live.  So, for course that meant I have had to get daycare...which I was able to confirm up yesterday...oh, what a relief!!!      Tomorrow were going to have my granddaughters 2 year Birthday party...were having a Sponge Bob party...she loves SB.  I can't wait to see her little face when she sees everything.  Also, I bought her a Fisher Price Barbie Jeep...it is electric...it is so cool and the price was GREAT!!!  It is $268.00, but the box was miss marked and they priced it for $49.00...yes that is right...I said $49.00.  I asked the lady that was ringing it up...are you sure that is the right price...she said...mame, if that is what it is marked then it is right.  I was like...ok, cool!!!

Oh Michele, the Barbie Jeep brings back so many memories.  My boys had a "Rescue 911" jeep.  When you honked the horn, it said RESCUE 911, HOW CAN I HELP YOU?  I hated that stupid jeep!!  Thanks for bringing back the memory for me.  The boys are now 18 and 16 and still talk about their rescue jeep!
