Hi there!  I am somewhat (kinda but not really lol) close to Stockton, in Escalon.  While I probably wouldn't go all the way to Stockton for a support group meeting, I do think it would be a cool idea to maybe get a lunch meet-up together. Maybe once a month or every other.  Just an idea. 

I'm in Elk Grove, too.

I would be open to a monthy gathering of some sort. What do you have in mind? Something informal, like brunch...or something more formal, like a meeting?

That sounds good to me I live in Jackson and there used to be a support group here but no one was going so they do not do it any longer. So I have not been to any support group meetings yet. I would love the support.

Sorry for the late response but I was out of town for a few days.  :-)

I was thinking that something informal would be a great way to start.  I would be happy to secure a location or I am open to hosting at my home. We could plan a lunch or brunch and if anyone wanted to swim they could do that, too.

For me, it would be nice to connect with others in this area that are familiar with the ins and outs of WLS.  While I don't mind driving to Roseville, it seems like the majority of the people there are those that are considering this process down the road and the group is pretty much devoted to that.
