Does anyone know of a brand / kind that is tolorable?  Pill ... Liquid.  I tried the Chocolate Flavored one from the Bariatric Site and it chewed like chalk and then turned into paste in my mouth.  Thought I would gag.

Most of them are pretty nasty. Here is what I take and can handle them, www.bariatricfusion.com
They will send you sample to taste before you spend your $$.
Or you can take the regular calcium citrate, if the are to big to swallow cut them in half.
Just make sure you are taking them no matter what!!

I take the Citrical + D petites (2 in the morning and 2 at night) small pills that go down just fine.  Safeway has them on sale of 10.99 for 200.

Joy,

During my meeting with the nutritionist a couple of weeks ago, she is the one who told me to take them.  I think it is 1200 mg but not too sure.  She said that this along with the milk and cheese I am eating, should work out just fine.  I do my labs in a couple of weeks and I will know then.  I will let you know how it works out.

Hugs,
Barb

Barb, I have been low on calcuim since I was 6 weeks out...OUCH!! Yeah, and I am doing everything they have told me and then  some. So I , on my own started taking the Bariartric Fusion 1 X 4 a day they sy I need knowthing else ...but I am taking a little more calcuim and an extra B-12 just to be on the safe side. I think part of the reason I am so low on the caluicum is 1)runs in the faimly 20)medication I am taking and 3) my Auto Immune diseases might have something to do with it, I will find out more in a couple weeks. All I know is I have been fightig this from the start. Grrr.
Other than that since I start the Bariatric Fusion (oh and I don't mind the taste either) my enegery is of the chart!!! And I am loving it.

Joy,

That's no fun for sure.  I am glad you found something that works for you.  Keeping my fingers crossed that my 1st labs are going to come out A-OK.  I am feeling wonderful, so I don't expect any surprises.  LOL.

Hugs,
Barb
