Today I get off early to go and cash/deposit my son's savings bond. It's been 17 years and now it's worth $10,000. We plan to hit him up for a loan cuz obviously, he won't spend it "right". LOL.
Other than that, I've been away from my work desk for five days and I'm buried. Nice to be needed.

I'm off today at 11 - headed to Oroville to meet up with Joe's parents and take them out to dinner tonight. It's going to hit mid-90's today here. I got some sun this weekend, but with 3 layers of sun-screen on yesterday I did not burn! Double Whew! I am a total pasty white girl and if I don't ease into the summer sun-shine thing, I end up looking like a very ripe strawberry! And pain. The girls and I are going to go do the spray-on tan thing for StageCoach this coming weekend. There is no way I want to have such a miserable weekend because I burn by being out in the desert sun all weekend long. So, spray on tan, sun screen and we should be good to go. I do, however, need to buy a HAT!

Yes, the weekend went by too fast! Friday night I layed low and got my toes & nails done. Sat, I had a bridal shower. That was fun, then Sat night I spent the night with my b/f watching TV. Sunday, I just did my errands at the mall, then some grocery shopping. Sunday night was fun, I had dinner @ The Beachhouse in Laguna Beach. It was soo yummy and what a beautiful evening.
Since I was with my boyfriend all weekend all, I couldn't flirt. Oh, well there is always next weekend.

Good Morning Calif......
WOW! I feel like I am moving so very slow this morning. I was doing a 12 hours fast for some labs work, but had to give it up for pian pill. I woke up about 4 this morning in so much pain I wanted to cry. For some flipped out reason, my back is out of wack. And talk about pain. OMG!!! I moved out to the living room but I am thinking I will be going back to bed soon Maybe even before I finish typing. Tis NOT fun that is for sure.
I do not have much plained for today. I was going to shampoo my carpit, but back and shoulder out I don't think that would be smart. OMG! just thinking about it, sent a spaz through my back NOPE! not a smart thing to do. At this point even the shower seems like a lot of work. I can remember my mommy said there would be days like this. there would be days like my Mommy said Mommy said.
OK I am at the point where I need to move. OUCH!!

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Friday, I went out to LB to return my watch so it can be calibrated by the watch repair person, but with the LB Grand Prix, all of the buses were detoured.
Got something to eat and went home.
Saturday, I was due to go to my meetup meeting so I took my watch with me. After my meeting, I went to the watch repair person and dropped off my watch and walked around for 30 mins. It is still fast, by at least 30 minutes.
Sunday, I ran 3.36 miles. The only problem I had with that was that I waited until 11 am to start the run. Because I waited so long after sun up, I had to do it then, because I knew I wanted to have a couple of ****tails at my cousin's house later that day. So I did the run. It took me over an hour to do it. I should have known that I did not need to call another cousin long distance and do a 2 hour gab fest first thing in the morning.
After my run, I came home, showered, changed and prepared to go to my cousin's house for a belated Easter dinner. The food was great.
Today, after work, I will go back to LB and return my watch for another adjustment. Hopefully, the watch person will get it right this time.
Well, I have to go now, but remember to spread more...

Afternoon Janine and Cali Gang
Been gone for a few days and it takes a while to catch up on everybody's doings. Sounds like most everybody had a good weekend...sounds like a lot of outside doings and enjoying the sun.
We came home early Sunday morning from our carving campout; thought it best to beat the heat as we had to unload the rv and no way I can do that when temp**** the high 80's. This was my first real outing with eating being a main part of the activities...potlucks both Friday and Saturday nites. I lucked out both nites as Friday someone brought Chili and Saturday nite someone made a chicken salad dish that was chicken in some kind of lite sauce. Pouchy handled both without even a grumble; I alway worry what the reaction will be when I 'introduce' new foods...I hear all the horror stories and I cringe LOL I did have my own food in the rig but I wanted to see if I could adapt to what was being served. These campouts are a monthly event for us and I need to learn how to fit them into my new daily routine ^_^ I must have done okey as I lost 2lbs! from Friday morning to Sunday morning 
Today is back to work...which is ok..I enjoy being here when I have enough work to keep me busy...and right now, I have PLENTY to keep me busy LOL Suppose to go to a support group meeting tonight but if it cools down enough, may skip it and go for a scooter ride, if hubby is up to it. He has been dealing with this horrible head cold garbage going around...and he's not exactly fun to be around when he's under the weather...not a whole lot of patience on his part. :-( I'll also have to take the dogs for their walk...boy, they don't let me miss a day!
