Good Morning Everyone and happy Sunday to all of you!

I hope that you all have been out enjoying the glorious weather we are having!

After reading Becky's post yesterday, I realized that I had forgotten to post. I remember having the screen up to post and got pulled away from my computer and then left and never came home and wella...no one posted until later!!! YIKES we must have all been on the same page of out there being busy yesterday!!!

I know I got to go to Joshua with my Jeff and we hiked up to Lost Horse Mine out in the park. The weather could not have been better. It was in the low 70's because we were up around 5,000 feet and there was a breeze. It was a moderate hike, but it kicked my ass...okay well my back and I am feeling it right now and it is part of the reason I am up! I am fine hiking, it is just that is mostly up hill and it kills my low back, but I forged on because I loved being outdoors. It will not be long before being outdoors here is going to be rough as we are headed for our triple digit weather! So that means doing everyting super early in the morning too!

So did all of you SD ladies and gents have a great lunch yesterday? I know you must have because the company was great!!! Miss Hostess Nikki....do tell all the details!

Rhonda if you are reading in the early morning...make sure that you take plenty of water out hiking today! As you know it was toasty here yesterday and it is going to be even more toasty out there today. Is your booty feeling any better? hehehehehehe and did the French people get checked for being out at the hottub at 4 a.m.? How rude was that?

LuLu....now that you have your computer back.....why aren't you posting. Special guest precluding that? I know you and DD must have your hands full for sure!

Steve...been out planting your garden and getting it all spiffed up for the late spring and summer? I am sure it is looking great and how is your new baby?

Jean have not seen too much of you around lately....is everything okay...just taking a break?

Barb you have not mentioned your job thing lately and I am wondering how things went with that "Let's see about the commute thing." I am hoping that you are going to land on your feet with a new job soon! Good on you for being a double angel too! BTW...I think I read that your fil got out of the care facility and is or went home? I sure hope so!

Joy...have you been out riding yet? The weather must be getting warmer up there! I am hoping to drag mine out today...well early before it gets too hot and too many jerks on the road! Did you go on your interview?

Linda I surely hope that you can find some relief to all of what you have gone through with those dang strictures!

Nancy how are things going with you? Are you glad to be back to work or do you have that...OMG I wish I had more time off?

Naomi did you get down to the SD lunch? Were you off this week? I cannot remember. I just know that one week off makes me not want to go back and has the urge to just play!

Kim in Fontana...wow that is really expensive the glasses. They surely do not make it easy to see do they? I know I have paid an arm and a leg for glasses that I do not wear....I prefer contacts and only wear my glasses like now because I take them out when I go to bed. Driving in my glasses makes me feel like I have a horrible hangover or something.

Katt any job prospects? It is really tough and competitive out there these days. I hope you land something soon!

Monica....how is it going? Is Missy Jordyn just keeping you way busy? How are classes going that you are taking. I have to take my hat off to you...working, motherhood and school....YIKEs that is a lot!

Jen....where have you been? Out with hubby whooping it up in the RV? I have not seen  you around much and hope that all is well with you.

ShyGoddess...congratulations on your surgery date!! You are right...never give up and I hope all goes smoothly for you here on out!

MetalMeli...I hope that whatever choice you make with having wls is good for you. Keep on fighting for what you want and like others have said...don't settle for something because of scheduling problems!

Jenni...I am stunned the ER would treat you like this. I mean hello? I hope you are doing better....I really feel bad for you and you have every right to be pissed off about how you were taken care of!

Candi...I hope you are recovering nicely...okay with the help of a lot of drugs!!! How is that pretty little grandbaby of yours doing?

Chris how is your knee doing? You know this is really weird...I had a bum knee the other day and it was all because I wore a pair of flip flops that were at the right tilt....I could hardly bring my knee up to the brake. It was fine yesterday, but OMG it surely hurt the day before. I hope that your knee is doing better. I know it cannot help much being on it at Costco all day!

Delores...how did your hubby's job interview go? I so hate going on interviews!!!

Michele how did the birthday party go? I know Ava has one of those Barbie Jeeps or whatever they are called and I am telling you...she has a ball on it! She cracks me up! Good morning Janine.  You are getting off to an early start today.  Well, I did my first training walk yesterday and feel like I failed.  Only did 1.5 miles of the 3 mile walk.  Course I am in San Francisco at the moment, and the hills are killers downtown.  Think I'll have to find gentler hills for training purposes. 

Hope all of you are doing well. Can't wait to move back to LA next month and start seeing all of you again.

Good Morning Janine and crew - HERE I AM

This past week was super duper busy - had something going every day - dr appts, babysitting yada yada.  Then yesterday was the flea market here in Leisure World - we do them about 4 times a year and I get to take all my treasures (junk) to sell and hopefully make a little cash....well yesterday was a good day - I made about $200 so that was great.  And...I was lucky enough to have Naomi come and join me in the afternoon and what a gal - she helped my sister and I pack up and then we all went for a little R&R at the local pub....but let me just say after the long day I was in bed and asleep by 7:00.....no wonder I am up so early right?

Anyway - as usual a great shout out Janine....sorry your back is hurting...but sounds like you had a great day yesterday.

Hopefully this week it a little lower key than last week...

I just want to let all my LB coffee-ers that this Sat is COFFEE DAY and I have a ton of clothes I am bringing...lots and lots of size 14 jeans - shorts - skorts - tshirts and more....some still even have the tags on them....so come and join me and take these clothes off my hands....

Ok well time to go read the paper - I just heard it hit the front porch....

I am going to mug you in the parking lot for your 14 jeans, shorts and skirts.  I will be glad to take anything you have in a 14 or a large.  I am bringing some stuff that you gave me last time that I an undergrowing out of!  lol.  you have the cutest stuff my dear.  I am relaxing with my hubby this weekend and will be back on Monday.  I can't wait to show off my new little one at the coffee, and of course Lexie wants to come also.  lol.  See you soon.

Morning all.  Quick type-by as I'm getting ready to head out the door to go to a Giants game in San Francisco.  Our Board of Trustees is hosting a tailgate party and I have to be there by 11 to hand out food.  Then the game for a while and home stopping by to pick up a table and chair.

Round up went fabulous yesterday.  No red jeans - we save those for "good".   Did, however, have on my wrangler working jeans and boots.  Got a fab picture of me on Spooky, my horse for the day.  Made Joe nuts as he hates horses.  I hadn't been on one in years due to my weight, but it's like riding a bike - it all comes right back to you. 

Have a fab day everyone and I will post pictures later.  I've been so busy so far this weekend I haven't had time to do much here on teh computer.

We are twins seperated from birth as I went Horseback ridding just a few days ago and Loved it.  I had not been on one in years also as I was over the weight requirements.  Now I am more than 40 lbs under the limit and it feels great. Well My coffee is calling I better go and drink some get dressed and get ready for this wonderful day.

Good Morning Janine & Everyone,
The lunch yesterday was great. I love it when we have a newbie who is pre op and we can help them. Faedra asked tons of questions, she kept appologizing, lol. To me this is what the lunches are about, helping each other. There were only 6 of us, so it was easy to talk to everyone and hear everyone. Next month is probably going to be a dinner since May 2nd I will be out of town in DHS for my B Day with family and the next weekend off is the 16th and that is 2 days after my next surgery so I doubt I will be up to going out.
Today is all about enjoying the weather. I am going over to my parents house to sit in the spa to try to relax my muscles and get some sun. Tonight I have a play party with some people from work. Then tomorrow back to work, boooooo, lol.

Well as usual, Janine, great shout out.  How you remember so much...  Had a fun day yesterday.
Wished I could have made it out to SD.  Sounds like you guys had a good time.  Maybe next time.

But I did go out and visit Jean and her sis at the flea market and picked up some nice things.  It was fun hanging out with her and Nancy.  But it was an early night for me as well.  Went out to dinner and then home to bed, lol! 

Today...I guess laundry, etc. and getting geared up to go back to work.  Spring break is way too short!

The MS Walk was wonderful. The weather couldn't have been better. It even got alittle warm. I walked it faster than I did last year by about 15 minutes. Not too shabby. This year I was better prepared with water and a snack of a protein bar too. I did get a little hitch in my get-along...the muscle in the top front of my right thigh hurt pretty good by the time I got home. I was EXHAUSTED but still managed to do some shopping (duh...never too tired for shopping!) and did some housework (laundry, cleaning).

Today, church then an inpromptu barbeque...dh invited people. Didn't clear it with me but I've learned to roll with these things..otherwise, I'd be stressing 24/7..LOL.

I got out my old old crafting stuff...paint, jewelry...hair stuff...I don't know what posessed me to buy 100 hair clips and combs but I did it years ago...Maybe I'll make some pretty things if I combine all the beads and stuff too. I have some ideas, we'll see. I even found cardstock boxes, unfinished...something has to spur my creative side.

How's everyones weekend so far.  Mine has been just great.  I have been busy. Yesterday, I cleaned house, did laundry, and took my Labs in to get bathed and shaved, (they were shedding so bad!!) that was all by 10am. Then went outside and stayed out all day, it was so goregous out there.  Today's suppose to be the same, after church, think I'll go to the beach and walk. then come home and garden, maybe bbq some salmon for dinner.  Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday. 
PS  I am also going to the LB coffee on Sat. and have alot of larger size clothes 28, 26, & 24.  Hopefully someone can use them.  Hugs~Donna
