Good Tuesday Morning Cali
Good Morning Cali,
Well yesterday, I turned in my watch and they said that it would be at least 3 days before they contacted me again regarding the timing mechanism. Great!
Woke up around 5 am but did not run. I will do that tonight.
Nothing else.
More Peace & Love,
Kimmie
So far it's a good week and I'm trying not to stress over too much! Got's to keep that Blood Pressure down!!! Hehe Although I'm having a good week, I totally feel Janine on that "Whaaaaaaaaaaaa is it Friday yet?"!! I love my weekends and even though it's supposed to rain this weekend (shocking!! it was 90+ yesterday) I'm looking forward to the R & R!
I hope everyone is having a great week and just think... tomorrow is already going to be humpday!!

Did anyone know that Texas Cattle Company is running their 25th anniversary sale this month? Till the end of April, ALL burgers are $2.50 there. A burger there is TWO meals for me (without the bun too) and then the added toppings are $0.25 each. Last night dh and ds and I all had burgers AND fries fries come with those for $11.00.....They got cokes, I go****er and didn't drink any of it...
Other than that, dh bought another boat...
My son's savings bond matured and now we can afford to get him insured and licensed to drive (oh joy).
Got all our tax refunds back and spent.
When is this week gonna end????
Before Surgery: 214
Highest Weight: 240

Just eating my lunch and reading the boards.
I took yesterday off and did nothing. It was too hot. I am back to work today and paying for my laziness.
I am planning on going to the gym after work today. I haven't been in a few days. Need to get back into the swing of things.
Hope everyone has a great afternoon and evening.
Just got back from my 2mi walk around the office block with my co worker. Any later in the day and I would have skipped it until later tonight. Sacramento and surrounding towns all broke 50year old highest temps for the date yesterday. High for Sac was 96 but we hit 98 by 4:30pm....I knew it was hot...but 98??? in April???? Must be the Man Upstairs giveing me a 'little' reminder (as if I need one!) as to why I had WLS....I couldn't take another summer of 100+deg weather :-(
Had a 'distressing' WOW moment last nite: have a reception at the Hyatt tonight for work...went to find a dress to wear...NOTHING FITS!!! Every dress or skirt I have is a size 22...I'm down to 18's! and 2 jeans that are 16's! So, I guess this weekend I'll be going back to thrift stores to find a couple of temporary dresses to have on hand

Lunch time is over...back to posting money and then to the reception at 2:30. Hope everybody finds a way to survive and enjoy this heat wave....Janine? 108?? How do you stand it??!!

Surgery was RNY 5/21/07...I can be found on Facebook: anewbecboo or Becky Reddick
I am looking forward to LB Coffee this Saturday.
My gut doesn't hurt as much since I have been on the carafate. But the stricture is definately back. I go see my GI doc on Thursday.
I also spoke to my PCP. She is going to put me off work for a while on a medical leave of absence. I only took a week and a half off from work with my RNY surgery, and I have been going thru so much with the stricture/ulcer and some other health issues, I think my body needs time to just rest and recoup for a bit.
I have about 10 more weeks of FMLA and then that will actually start over again in July, I will get 12 more weeks if needed.
Thanks for all the support from everyone.
Linda
