Aloha all my darling supportive friends! Just want to let you know how well I'm doing and what my weight is! This AM I am 190 down from 260 w/ surgery date 10/21/08 Started as a size 3X
This is a MIRACLE! I've never felt so good, or had so much energy! I bought my first pair of jeans(size 16) in 20yrs and wore them with heels!! WHOOHOO! my husband was so impressed and happy! I immediately undergrew those jeans so I won't buy more till I'm a more stable size but GEE it was fun!
For me this has been not only life changing but mind changing. Now that I'm not "using" food, I've noticed my emotions more, and for that I'm grateful I have you and other support groups.
I did have some hair loss, but a quick note here brought great suggestions! I pushed the protein and added a collagen liquid and it stopped and is growing back.
I really have to say I owe my life to this surgery and your "board" support! I urge everyone who's on the fence to fall into the waiting arms of OBHELP!
I am lucky I landed here and found support, information and encouragement.
