Nutrition class information

Hello everyone! 

I am trying to find a nutrition class in the Oakland or Concord area.  I would like to take the class before my surgery.  If anyone has any information I would really appreciate it.  Thanks.

I attend John Muir's support group and not too sure that they have a nutrition class per se, but you can request that your health care provider get an approval for you to see Angie Hunt the Nutritionist at J.M. Concord.  I did this and she is wonderful.  The other thing that was brought up at the last support group meeting was using the American Diabetic Association's nutrition classes. 

We're having a lunch on May 2nd, see an earlier post, we'd love to have you come too.

Hi. I went through the John Muir Med. Center program in Concord, and I had to go to a nutrition class.  I can't remember what day they have the class on.  Where do you plan on having your surgery. If you go to the John Muir web site, they have a section on there bariatric program, and it might give you the information on the class, when it is and how to register for it. I hope this helps. Aloha JCH- There must be a reason you cannot go to the John Muir Center at Mt Diablo where your doctor is and see Angie? Do you mean the pre op class that Anne Timberlake and Angie run, I think it's Wednesdays but I cannot remember it's been so long. You can also schedule an appointment with Angie. XOLori
