Dr. Appointment Update

Just wanted to let you know that I saw my PCP this morning and he sent me to do some other tests. I had to draw more blood, and also do a Bleeding Test..

Needless to say, I failed on that one. They cut my arm open and waited to see how long it took for my blood to clot. She said normally people tend to stop around 4 minutes, oh not me..  LoL.. I have to always be difficult. It took me over 8 and a half minutes to finally start to clot my blood.

I am not sure what that means, but have another follow up appointment with my PCP next week. Good news though the bleeding is slowing down, and that is GREAT!

I also have some REALLY REALLY GOOD NEWS.. My liver counts are DOWN, YEA!!! 
Still low on my D, but working on that.. I am so happy though that my LIVER seems to be improving. Some bit of good news in this crazy week I have had.

So glad to hear you are feeling better and good news on your tests.  I remember when my ex was going in for surgery, he took about the same amount of time to clot and he had a vitamin K deficiency!  So glad you're feeling better tho.

Thanks, I am glad I am feeling better too..

I will watch out for the vitmain K, but didn't hear about that being low on my recent labs. Will keep my eyes open to it though..

Yes the Liver is GREAT news.  I am sure we will get the blood thing worked out..

Glad to hear you are taking care of yourself.  Sorry U haven't heard from me for awhile, but just getting back on the boards after my 4/8/09 RNY revision surgery.  Will pray your health issues continue to improve.
