Crazy Chicks Who Run
I'm one of them, and I'm doing it again. I just registered to run the San Francisco Half Marathon. I choose to run the first half because it's the flatter half of the course and it also goes over the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge.
Just the thought that I can even attempt such things is another reminder that I AM A MIRACLE and how WLS has brought so much freedom to my life. I am a very lucky girl. If you're considering surgery or are waiting for your surgery date....life is really good on the other side. I would gladly do it all over again just to have the life I do now.
Once again I'm running for a charity YouthRun4Fun a local San Francisco charity that sponsors local running/fitness programs for inner-city youth of all races, sizes, shapes and levels of abliltiy. If you want to donate a few bucks it would be greatly appreciated. the link is in my signature. If I reach my goal of $250 I get to run for free.
and.....
If you are interested in walking or running the Revlon Walk for Women on May 9th it's not too late and it's also for a very good cause. Your registration fee includes a goodie bag, and a t-shirt. The link is also in my signature....so, what are you waiting for???!?! SIGN UP!
