Mom just had it  done on the 7th and is doing pretty good already.

Hi All,
Just getting back on the board this week.  I had RNY (open) revision surgery on 4/8/09.  Still on the liquid diet.  The last day in a half I was having excruciating cramp like pain under my left rib and on the left side of my mid back.  At first I thought it might be gas, but then determined my potassium must be low, because as soon as began drinking some diluted juice I began to feel better.  With all of the above going on my hubby has a debilitating back injury, which has been challenging to deal with on top of getting adjusted and recovering from my surgery.  All in all though I'm in a postive place and glad to be part of this fabulous support group.

Happy TGIF, Cali Crew!!! As I've been lurking so long I feel I know all of you on some level so, I'm going to jump right in.

Thank you Janine for such a great shout out. I love Fridays and this one couldn't come soon enough!!

My weekend is going to be full of good times because like Maureen I will also be attending Stagecoach Festival. Myself, my cousin and a bunch of girls , WooHoo!! I can't wait. I also get to go shopping for some new clothes after work because I have nothing that fits me. Not complaining, today I am actually wearing size 12 Jag Jeans. That was a big wow this morning!!!

Rhonda I am so glad you enjoyed your vacation with the hubby. sure sounded like you had fun. I know your neck of the woods very well, I graduated from Hesperia High School in '93 I can't wait to join one of the local get togethers and meet some of these great people in person.

Robin - You are also just a stone's throw away. I'm currently in Wrightwood but I just head out Phelan Road and get into town in about 25 minutes. Congrats on the weight loss, you look amazing for only 2 mos. out.

Monica - I just have to say Jordyn is such a doll and she really does look great in purple.

I wish I were going to Stagecoach. I alway say I am and never make it.

I am glad this week is almost over--just another hour here at work.

My boyfriend is out of town this weekend. It is opening weekend for trout fishing. He and a couple friends go up every year--male bonding--NO girls allowed. I look foreward to this weekend as much as he does. haha. They get him opening weekend and I get closing weekend.

I am going to spend the weekend getting things together for my pre-op week and surgery. Laundry, shopping etc...

Good evening!  I'm on complete bed rest.  Had surgery today to open up my whole tummy tuck incision.  3 hours and a drain later, hopefully this infection is gone for good.  I'm so sick of it!

I hope you are all enjoying TGIF.  My day was good until about 2pm, and it seemed to go all down hill. I hope tomorrow at work is better. I have a short weekend, only off Sunday, then back at it Monday and Tuesday. Oh well, I can't complain, I only work 3 days a week. So in the end it all works out. 
  I don't have any set plans for Sunday, I might go to the farmers market and check out the veggies, and hit the gym. The house work will have to wait till I am off during the week.
 Janine, my mouth is feeling better. Thank goodness. Oh I sneaked a peak at my labs too and they are good too except my potassium is low. I guess I am going to have to hit the bananas. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend

The "room" is coming along nicely. I went to Modesto this morning and went hardware store crazy!!! Almost as good as a shoe store he- he- he- he! T-111 siding, insulation, an A/C unit, new tape measure, new square (what the heck happened to the other one???) 2X4"s 2X6's, a window (will get the other one at the salvage place tomorrow), knotty pine tongue and groove Phewwwwwwwww!! Oh, and the fabric to recover the motorcycle seat. Then a quick stop at Trader Joe's and back home. The only thing other than the other window that I have to pick up and I will do that next Wednesday, is get the drywall, mud, tape and concrete stain. The biggest problem I am having is getting the blasted HOT TUB out of the room... I need some big strong WILLING bodies... to get this thing out and onto a piano dolly and move to the neighbor's! You would swear work is a 4 letter word around here!! Geez!!!
