Anyway still not sure what were doing today but I have my mom on standby to watch the kids so we can get the heck out of here for a little while LOL.

Afternoon Lu and Cali gang
Just got back from my Lodi support group; was a good meeting, a few people I have not met before were there, we discussed the IMPORTANCE of Vitamins and the emotional and psychological 'side effects' of WLS and how important to have a support group or person to share this journey with. 

My plans for the day have gone out the window; hubby is still way too sick; in fact, he has called the doctor's office, something he really hates to do or go.  I just want to be sure this hasn't gone into pneumonia...which has happened 3 times before...start out as a cold and turn nasty a week later. :-(

So, I guess I'll clean out the closet; bought some really cute tops and 3 pairs of dress pants at the thrift store last nite ^_^  I mean, how can you pass up paying $1.98 or $2.98 for a top. The most I paid was $19.96..for L.L.Bean jeans!!!  And they were brand new!!  Of course, being only 5', all the pants I get have to hemmed...so I'll be getting out the measuring tape also LOL

Good Saturday Lu and the Cali Kids...

I have that dog issue with our Bandit only he wants to slide his head under my right hand. Wants me to pet his silly little head. When his nose touches my hand, IT"S COLD...LOL. And I can't reach the keys with his head under my hand.

My dh is a bedhog too. And he's warm so I move way (because I have hot flashes myself!) so by morning, that California King is EMPTY and I'm hanging over the edge. You should have seen the endings on the water bed...I was hugging the rail by morning, stuffed between the mattress and the bumpers. Even fat as I was..LOL.

Sorry about the running partner. Years ago, I'd have been able to do that running stuff. I was in track (a hundred years ago) but I'm more of a distance walker now. LOL. Maybe some day. Early out I tried jogging but took a nice fall at 8 months out...hurt my hip so I had to cool it for a while. Now I just walk, fast but it's still a walk.

The California Poppy Festival in Lancaster is a blow out. Seriously. The wind is blowing 50 miles an hour and it's COLD...so none of that for me. I still hold out hope that tomorrow will be better. Shopping today was done by noon and now we're watching Nascar as Bandit snores. Silly little dog.

And dh yelling at Kyle Busch...ouch. Kenseth is on his roof and on fire. Thank God he's okay.
