I am just busting with pride - my second oldest son Doug graduated from college today!!!  It was an awesome moment and I am so happy for him.  My hubby and I feel amazingly blessed.

Just had to share with my OH posse!

Ok - you are a very kind lady! lol  I did start a bit young, but I am definitely OLD enough to have a college grad (some days I feel even older).  However, your grandson's HS graduation - you are soooo not old enough to have a grandson that age!!!  Congrats to him and you!

OMG Cathy you do not look like you are old enough to even have children in college....but you should be busting with pride...great accomplishment for him and speaks volumes about the mom and dad who raised him!

Aw Janine, thanks so much.  He is an amazing guy and we just love him and are so proud of him.  To add to that, he is going to be an elementary school teacher.  He originally wanted to go back and teach in a private Christian school he and his brother attended, which would have been great.

However, while doing volunteer work in an afterschool program for kids from at-risk schools this year he decided he wanted to work in an at-risk public school instead.  How awesome is that kind of of direction & desire to serve the kids?

Anyway - enough of my shameless bragging!  Thank you so much for all the well wishes

Congratulations Cathy!  Now, I can't say you're too young to have College age kids, not just one but Two!!??? Why not???  So are you telling us that ISN'T YOU in the avatar??  ROTFL  At least I can say you and hubby have done a wonderful job raising your boys...not only are they responsible young men...they show they have been raised with values and compassion for those who are not as fortunate as them.  Awesome!!
