It is Whacky Wedneday Weigh In Gang!
I can't believe it but I'm DOWN 4.5lbs!! Whoo hoooooo!! It seems from day to day I just sit bouncing back and forth and then by Wednesday, it just plops off...and I have a really nice loss for the week. I started drinking a protein drink (OMG Belgin Chocolate! Just love it!) in the morning...really ups my protein intake...and I think it really made a difference^_^ Bought myself a pair of Levi! 552's, relaxed fit....in size 18 and they fit like a charm...I haven't been in Levi's since high school...what a trip! LOL I finally broke into the 180's...haven't seen those numbers since Disco Dancing days ;-)
Needless to say, I'm kinda flying high today....really feel good about myself and really, really enjoying this RIDE! LOL
Hope everyone has a great Wednesday! Be good to yourselves, YOU ALL deserve it ^_^

Had gastric bypass revision surgery (open) on 4/8/09 and since then down 23 lbs., and for the week down 9.8 lbs. I am thrilled! Doctor is very pleased with my progress and says my drastic weight loss is not typical for revision patients (as revision patients usually lose weight slower). I am able to fit into most of my clothes hanging in my closet and in the next couple of weeks will dive into the clothes I have packed away that are a couple of sizes down from where I am. I am also walking 1-2 times a day averaging an hour or more. As a reward for all of the above, I am getting my hair done today, so I can feel like a human being once more.
Thanks for sharing with me all of your wonderful successes, it definitely has inspired me!

Goodmorning everyone,
I am very happy to be off work today. Sorry to all that are at work today, I don't mean to rub it in. We were busy the last 2 days, and I wasn't feeling good either, so that makes work that much worse.(they did offer to find someone to replace me, but I decided to stick it out) So far today, I feel ok, so lets hope that continues. I have a busy day planned. I am about to head to the gym and get in a work out. I am getting my hair done at noon. I have my 3 month follow up today with my surgeon, and I have a class tonight too.
You can put me down for 3 pounds lost this week. I hope everyone has a great day

Good Morning Janine & Cali friends,
Well I went to see my Bariatric Dr. yesterday and all I can say is.."its game on now"! I am going to loose my last 20lbs pounds. I am holding still but look out next week, I know I will be down. It felt so good, to see him again. I was able to talk to him about my little problem "snacking". Well, he said I needed to go back to the basics, three solid meals of protein. I know I haven't been getting in enough protein, so this morning I am on a mission of NO snacking. I had a great breakfast and I WILL NOT eat anything until lunch. This is going to be hard but I want to loose those pounds soooo bad! I can do it and I will do it!!
Hope everyone has a great day!

Well I just got back from my vacation Sunday to find out that I had gained 3 lbs. but I have lost one since I have been back so as of today I have gained 2 lbs. I am really bummed about it but I'm thankful it wasn't more.
I am also bummed because yesterday I had to put one of my cats to sleep. When I got back my daughter told me that he hadn't been eating and feeling well. I took him to the Vet and found out that he had severe kidney failure. Come to find out he had been having kidney problems for a while and we had no Idea, he had no signs of being sic****il right before our trip he had a trauma which put him into kidney failure. I will miss him.

I came back from vacation down 1 pound!!!! Yay for me!!! I also posted a bunch of new photos from StageCoach and.......... a new one in the Pictures of Me section. Its me standing in my old pants. Wow.
Wind is blowing, allergies are up, my ear is gurgling and my head hurts. I want to go home and go back to bed. Ugh.
Work. Blah. Gotta get to it (after I take more tylenol)
I've been MIA for a couple of weeks now. Just finished being a team captain for our Relay for Life. It was fun, but a lot of work. I'm happy to report that my team raised $4000. It's amazing how generous people can be even in these tough economic times.
My weight is holding steady, no loss or gain to report. I would love to have the scale move down. I've been stuck for a while and can't seem to make the scale budge. Work on it though and definitely not going to be discouraged. I'm still in my size 8's down from 22's and never intend to get back up there.
Hope everyone has a great rest of the week and a great weekend.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I know what I need to do and am supposed to do, sometimes it's just hard to get back into the groove, but again, as I'm maintaining, I can't complain too much. I made goal and my doctor is pleased with my results, especially 3+ years out. I can't complain too much, but then I always see myself as the "fat" girl. Don't know if/when that will ever change.
Yes, we did have a very successful fundraiser. Not sure what the Relay total was, last year the teams raised $350,000. This year we had 96 teams, so the total should be equally impressive. It's a great event.
Also, congratulations on your weight loss for the week. That's great! Keep up the good work.
