I'm jealous.  I want to go to Hawaii too!  I asked if that was underconsideation for our trip and they said no, darnnnnnnn.  I have a nephew in Honolulu.  My 97 yr. old mother is in Sacramento and brother is in Placerville.

Let's keep sharing our info. and hope for the best!

You can consider your cruise your "last supper"  before surgery, yummmmmmmmmmmmm.

Cheers,
Debbi

I was lied to by a carnival rep.  No Hawaii.  We are most likely going where you are going. And I ask this guy what did you offer the group going out this weekend for on-board credit. Cause it is too  cold to go off the ship.  He told me they were offered $75.00.

I started freaking on this guy.  I told him I waited 16 years to return and here I go again. After paying alot of money to fly down to Long Beach from SMF (I live in Folsom just down the hill from Placerville).

I bought new clothes for warm weather.  I told him I would rather just cruise on the ship in the warm weather.  I picked this ship because I know it was new and had excellent reviews.
I don't want to get sick before my WLS but gosh darn. Look at the difference in what you were offered.

I will get over this. My husband needs this vacation. So I will have to go but I am going to cancel the reservations to their 5 star restaurant that we have to pay $ 30.00  more each for dinner there. Save the $120.00 and go to Ruth Chris when I get home. Well I mean if I can eat that the day
before surgery.

Pooh Pooh To Carnival once again.

Come on board as a friend DNAF I will  get over this .  I am not an angry person usually.
I was so hoping for my hubby to have a good time.

I'm sure your hubby will have a good time anyway, and so will you.  I would definitely cancel the 5 star restaurant as the food on ships is usually fabulous anyway!

We have 3 in our stateroom, my 38 yr. old disabled son and our 80 yr. old friend who helps me with him.  She and her husband were supposed to go with us last year in April but her husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer and he passed away shortly thereafter so they couldn't come with us.  I still wanted her to have this opportunity, so she is going with us.  We have a delux balcony room with 2 beds plus a sleeper sofa (category D-1 whatever that means).  They said the on board credit and future cruise credit is determined by the type of room you have, so perhaps that's why we were offered the $450 on board credit and $350 future cruise credit.  That is per stateroom, not per person.  I'd tell Carnival you have a friend who is going with Royal and you think they should match the deal we are getting - all they can say is no!  If they won't go for that, try to get the 5 star dinners thrown in as further compensation.  It costs them lots of $ to sail without a fully booked ship!

You have a right to be angry.  So are we.  The weather prediction looks terrible.  We may not even get off the ship, but there is still lots to do on board.

Keep me posted!  Come join us on our cruise and we can cry in the ****tail lounge together - HA!
