OK here is the update on DD

The doctor did not come and see DD until late. Things are not all that great. I think I held myself strong front of DD but when I got home, I cried like a baby.

She needs surgery, but her lungs will NOT handle it. They found a aortic aneurysm and it needs to be fixed. Right now we have no clue what they are going to do. They are going to run some test tomorrow, and with luck they will be able to tell us more. I think I am still in shock and really didn’t ask the many question that I wish I had not.

Like, what happens if they don’t do the surgery? Can we build her lungs up. Even if the doctor flat called her lungs SHI*?? What can we do? There must be something, Right?

God, I hate this. I feel so helpless, as so many of you that have been in this same spot, all know. It SUCKS!!

OK I am going to bed so I can be up there early and ask the questions I have wrote down. And hope we learn more.

I am so sorry to hear this news. My father in law has a 7mm Adorm aneurysm. say with his lungs. and his age, he will be 85 in 2 weeks. He hasn't had any problems with it since they found it 3 years ago.

What hospital is she at? I go Thursday for an Angioplasty and possible Strent placement. But I will kepp DD in my prayers.

Make sure you write things down LuLu because you will forget things and you want to make sure things are clear when you are stuck in such an emotional place.

All I can say is that God will not give you more than you can handle nor DD and there has to be some divine intervention that will take place. I am praying for DD and you that somehow her doctor is going to create a miracle and you will have your DD home and healing before you know it.

I am just so sorry that she is going through this...no one deserves this.

What I can't even go to sleep now?  I get off the phone and think all is well and go to bed and this happens?  I am so sorry.  I hope you are sleeping in and getting some well deserved rest.  I am here for you my dear.  I will be at the school testing this morning but I am open after that.  Let me know.  I will call you later or you call me when you wake up.
