Good Morning Janine and Cali Friends,

I am sorry that you had such a rotten day with the kidletts yesterday.  We just don't pay our teachers enough for all the crap they have to put up with!

Nope, no new news on the job front, I am patienty waiting for the call that they posted the job so I can "formally" apply.  Geez, how long does it take???  I keep saying patience is a virture!

Father-in-law is doing much better at home, getting stronger everyday.  Thanks so much for asking.

I am so proud of Ron with his graduation, 3 weeks to go and then he's ALL MINE again LOL.  I can't wait for vacation too, it's gonna be a blast.

I am so glad you figured out your disability stuff and you got to the right channels.  It is so frustrating when they can't tell you the basics.

I hope everyone has a good Tuesday.  Going to go out with two former co-workers for lunch today, that's all that's exciting in my neck of the woods.

First LOVE the quote!! Second some people are so unbelievable. You seemed to be very generous to begin with, sheesh kids.
Monday was Hell for me. It was my 8th day in a row and when I agreed I was suppose to have overtime. My supervisor changed it to where I didnt get any, so on top if being tired I was pissy. Also I found out that my probation isnt over until my supervisor does my evaluation. Well it ended on April 24th and she hasnt even looked at my eval paperwork yet. It should have been done by that date. OYE!!
Oh well today I was actually able to sleep in and then when I woke up I was able to just lay in bed for awhile. It was nice, I also plan on taking a nap today to get all rested. Tomorrow is my Pre Op appt and errands. This weekend I am heading to the desert for my B Day with family so I need my sleep now. They have all this stuff planned from what I am hearing. Oh well it will be nice to be with family.

Janine!  Oops, I'm waving now!  We had such a good time and the place where we stayed was awsome.  My friend Tika's aunt and uncle live right near there so we stayed at Rancho LaQuinta at their house.  Wow is about all I can say.  I slept better there than I do in my own bed.  Made us realize we really do need a new bed!  Everyone was so nice!

We got home last night, unpacked and off to bed.  Got up this morning and got COLD water.  Ugh.  The pilot went out on the ho****er heater again.  Got to get it fixed.

God Bless you Janine, that is all I can say. You teachers have our future in your hands, and they  (the kids) always don't get it. I know, I couldn't be a teacher, I admire all of you who are. Thank you so much to every teacher out there.

Janine, I had a great time at the LB Coffee and I am going to stay longer next month. I felt bad, because my husband is shy and he stayed in the truck. Next month, I will bring my daughter Kellie and will stay all morning. I just loved seeing everybody. I met Jean and Naomi at the SD lunch last month and they are my New Hero's. They are great. I too want to be like them when I grow up.
They have inspired me as you all have to keep on this wonderful Journey. Can't wait to meet you again, I introduced myself at the OH Conference in LA in October, I was one week out of surgery. You are a Hero in my eyes too. Then I met Rhonda, OMG I think she is a riot. What a kick. I agree with you, she is like the Energizer Bunny.

Well, I got to go and walk. I have a busy day.
I am getting my last Ta too today, because I have to go back on Coumadin. So I am excited about that.
Bridesmaid dresses came in and we are going to pick them up tonight and have Taco Tuesday together with the Girls. Got to make Reservations in San Diego for Wedding and I have to make my food for the week.

Yes Karen I am related to the Energizer Bunny, you should have asked me and I would have shook my pink tail for you!  lol.  YOu were fun too and I just loved the clothes and the shoes.  Those red shoes are going to look hot with those skull tights I got.  I just can't wait to wear those to school, that will be a giant blast!  I can't wait till we meet again.  Are you planning on going to Disneyland with us on the 31st of May?  I hope so, it should be a blast MOMO is flying in for this event.  It is going to be great let me know!

This morning I was woke up my my neighbors dog BARKING nonstop, Warren playing his keyboard and beating on something he made into drums, and Brody yelling and SCREAMING from his crib in his bedroom!!! LOL everbody was ready to get up except for me!!! Oh well what can you do....Nothing new going on here!! Hope you all have a great day!!

I am so sorry to hear about your day. That really sucks, my boyfriend is a teacher, too, so I know what you mean abou the kids. He teaches continuation high school. "Ugh" poor him, but he loves it.

I am almost done with my paper. I am writing a philosophy argumentative paper. It is on Martin Luther King, Jr. (Letter from Birmingham Jail) Vs. Plato (The Crito). I was just so amazed when I was reading "The Letter from Birmingham Jail" how beautiful the letter was. I know he was adressing his fellow clergymen, but it amazed me how he was able to use quotes from famous philosophers such as; St. Thomas Aquinas & Socrates, without any books for use as references. Just amazing!

Well, Tuesday brings me a short day at work. I have to see my Dr. That should be joy. I know he is going to ask me why I haven't reached my goal weight. Oh, well..I am still 20-25lbs away..These darn last pounds are going to fight me all the way!

Good morning Janine and Cali. I am keeping Lu and DD in my prayers.

Nothing much going on today except job hunting. I applied with Kaiser yesterday for an appoinment clerk position and I will be going back today for my typing test. Please send up prayers, good vibes or anything else you can think of. Funds are getting really tight and I am getting really scared. We won't be homeless tho. Our rent ALWAYS comes first.
