Last Call for Northern Cal Lunch Sat. May 2nd!!!

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA LUNCH THIS SATURDAY!!!!

I need to give a head count to Chevy's tomorrow so if you are a maybe or want to come, please let me know!!!

          (note: Chevy's will do separate checks for everyone gratuity of 18% will be added)

CLOTHING EXCHANGE - feel free to bring things you have "undergrown" out of! 

Sure hope this can become a regular event for all of us and another great place for friendship and support too.

Of course it goes without saying, our Southern Cali friends are always welcome too.

:)   I am feeling GOOD actually!   I broke down and tried some scrambled eggs (touch of salsa and melted 2% american cheese on top) today since I read about a lot of people eating them in stage 2.. even though Anne said I shouldn't until 3..  I was going too crazy with the soft liquids..  and I was FINE!!!  THEY WERE SOOOOOO GOOD, I could only get down about 1/4 cup at the most.. but YUMMMM!   I haven't gotten sick or nausious once with anything!  I'm happy for that!   Hope you're doing good as well!   Will see ya on Saturday!!

Saturday will be so exciting...to put real people with the faces and names that show up in the postings...can't wait to meet ya ^_^

Just a word of caution about eating modified soft foods during stage 2....there is a reason for waiting!  Your pouch is still healing, the nerves have been cut so feeling hunger or full is at best a 'guess', and the most important reason...you don't want anything to mess with the stitches while they heal!  The liquid phase is boreing I know, but soft liquids 'flow thru' the pouch, without putting any stress on the stitches or the pouch itself.  Give your new pouch time to heal properly...it will pay off in the long run!

Man, I wish I could be there tomorrow.....but it'll have to be in spirit only.  I will be running like mad to finish things up for vacation...we need to leave for the airport by 5:30am on Sunday.
