My insurnace approved the stent placement out at UCI on the first go around! Woo Hoo! It looks like my stricture will finally be fixed. I am so excited! and I finally broke the weight plateau I have been at for the past two months. I am down to 156lbs. I have officially lost 94lbs. I still can't believe it.

The procedure should happen within the next couple of weeks! I will keep you posted.

Thank you to everyone here. You all have been so supportive thru this whole thing. I love you all

YAY! Linda and finally. I hope it happens sooner than later. Then we can celebrate at Tantalum, the site of your last supper. I'll buy you dinner just as soon as you can be healthy and happy eating it.

Congratulations Linda.
You are going to feel great! I had my stent inserted on April 10th and have been feeling so much better . Just have to be carefull about what I eat, since I can eat solid foods now. I have actually gained a couple of pounds (that is a good thing for me)

OMG I am so happy for you. I am so happy that you have been able to eat again and even gain a couple of pounds. You must feel great! Was the procedure pretty easy. Can you tell me if it's done endoscopically?
