Good Morning Cali

I am strapping the velcro on this morning out here in the windy desert!  Dang this weather is ridiculous...it was completely over cast yesterday, but 94 degrees!!! Can you say a tad on the humid side. I kind of felt sick on and off and school too because it was so warm in my classroom!

Testing is over for me because I got to test 7th graders instead of 8th.....so no more testing!!! YAY!!! I am back on a regular schedule this week!!! 8th graders will come back to my class at 3 rd period...oh wait a minute, I do not have a third period! LOL

I went to the interview thing yesterday for the Teacher of the Year thing...it went well...I was relaxed because I guess I do not care...I mean I care, but it is usually political and cliquey...and I do not need the recognition because I know I do a good job...and I am not trying to be stuck up....I do what I do because I love teaching and I get to teach my passion.

Got a surprise yesterday...our principal is leaving. I was not surprised, but YAY for him! He is going to the district to me the director of curriculum...interesting to say the least...and now   he will get to be with his new wife 24/7!

So how are all of you doing? I have not read the boards....well a little bit, but not much....not enough to shout you out gang!!!

Here's hoping to a terrfic day...and what do you all have going on?

Good Morning Janine and Cali,

Although we didn't get to 94 it was definitely muggy to say the least and with this cold I was quite uncomfortable.  Today is the last day of my class and I get a one day break tomorrow and the new class begins on monday.  So glad your testing is over ours does not begin until the 18th. I only have 2 days of testing though because 9th graders don't do history or science.

Not much going on for the weekend.  Lots of rest to knock out the rest of this cold.

Well I am was hoping to go the Cinco De Mayo parade today, but it is rainy!  Vanessa love parades too bad.  Just want to relax this weekend, time to catch up on laundry since we were gone last weekend.  Not much else going on.

Up way to early for my off day. Oh well,I am just about to head out the gym. Get an early start. It is overcast here, with the chance of rain again today. It is days like this, I like to stay curled up on the couch with a good book or watch movies.No chance for that,lots to do today. I hope everyone has a great day

I am doing much better this morning, and getting ready to head out to Pleasant Hill, then to San Jose with the kids..

I am so excited I can hardly stand it. How great is it going to be to finally put some faces behind some of the pictures I have seen for quite some time now..

Okay, so I still have to get me and 5 kids ready, so I have to run, but just wanted to say hello, and hope that everyone enjoys their weekend..

Good morning Cali!

Hold on Janine and Nikki don't want you guys getting blown away!  There was a bit of wind out here but it came and went.  Just overcast now. 

Hoping we are done with the rain, because I'm going to the Dodger game tonight!.  Yesterday was the hubby's b-day so this is my gift to him.  (Plus, I get to go too, hehe).

Good Morning Janine and Cali Friends,

It's overcast but the rain should stay away for our lunch today in Pleasant Hill.  I am so excited to meet everyone.  My mother-in-law is coming with me, she is SO much in need of a break and my husband is going to stay with my father-in-law and study at their house.  Then we're off to Costco and a medical supply place.

Tomorrow I am addressing graduation announements and doing laundry but given that it is supposed to rain all day, that's a good thing.

Well look forward to seeing all the Nor Cal folks at lunch and wishing the rest of you were joining us too.

Good morning All!

Its my first time saying good morning but i read along daily -- guess that qualifies me as a lurker huh?

Anyway - just got back from my morning walk. Started P90X last night and am hoping for awesome results! 

Its my 6th wedding anniversary and we're going to have a pamper day! Hope you all have a FANTASTIC day!
