Help looking for a local support group.

Hi ya'll,

I live in Folsom,CA and was wondering if anyone on-line go to a local support group, possibly
one that meets in Carmichael,CA?

My DOS is 5-19-09  I have never met anyone who has had an RNY.  I read a post about a young lady having so much trouble eating anything in the first month.

I tried to join a Sacramento Support and no one has responded to me thru my web page on OH.

Any suggestions

I'll get back to you later tonight;we have 2 local groups, one in Elk Grove, every Monday nite and another down in Lodi that meets on the average every 2weeks on Saturday. We could car-pool to either or both if you'd like!

I don't know where either one of these places are.  Can you tell me.  I don't drive on the Freeways  here but if we go I could help out with Gas.

I barely know my way around Folsom.  I was told there was a group in Carmichael,Ca in the same hospital that I went to a seminar Dr. Machado put on. I don't know if it is alot of her Pt's or open to everyone.

I'm leaving next Sunday for a cruise and get back one day before DOS.  So I can't go check it out before the procedure. That was why I was asking if anyone out there knew anything about
them.

I will get back to you on the other two places when I get out of the Hospital.
I did notice you were my friend.

Thanks so much for sending the info about the group in Roseville.  I go to church over there so I will how to get around a bit.

I hope it is okay that I go cause it looks like alot of one surgeon's Pt's are in the support group.

If I can fit it in while I'm getting ready for a cruise the day after. I will try to make it this week.

It is primarily composed of Dr. Waldrep's own patients, but is open to anyone needing support or fellowship.

Yep...second Saturday of every month.
