As usual, I'm a dime short and a day late...but! Keeping you and Joey in my prayers...such an upsetting thing when our kids have undiagnosed issues...we want them 'fixed' and 'fixed now!' Hi Jenn,
I noticed we have the same doctor, the amazing Mark Vierra. I had my surgery on 4/2/09 at C.H.O.M.P. It was a very, very successful surgery. ZERO problems (unless you count the early constipation, ugh).
You are doing so good. Congratulations.
Good luck with the rest of the journey...

Yes, he is great isn't he.. Thank you for the compliments.. I will have to say I struggle with constipation ALL THE TIME. You really have to stay on top of it, or it can get pretty ugly..

Congrats on your surgery.. You are doing a good job too.. Maybe sometime we can get together for coffee, (or something).

Nice to hear from you, Jenn. Thanks for replying to my post.
I am using stool softeners and Dannon Activia. I also drink a full 64 ounces of water per day. WHEN I eat cereal, it is high fiber. This is working GREAT for me.
Do you attend the support group at C.H.O.M.P.? I haven't been to one for awhile - probably good to go back and see what is going on in the 'local' WLS area.
I'd luv to meet you some time. It would be great to have a WLS friend who understands.
