Happy Thursday Everyone!!!

Happy Thursday to all of you!!! I can't believe that it is only one more day until Friday! Oh wait a minute, I am on Friday mode until the end of August now!!!

Yep it is true, yesterday was my last day of work. I was going to work today, but it is useless. I was really hurting in my stomach and today I have to be on an all liquid diet and cleansing sort of and I thought how am I going to do this at work. NOT!!!

It was hard to walk away yesterday in some respects. My students are worried I will not be there for their graduation. I told them by hook or by crook I will be there although I said I might not be able to stand in the handshaking line for fear of being knocked around like they usually do to me.

You know you really never know how much they care until they know you are not going to be around. Two of my most quietest boys in my advanced art class yesterday held back when the period ended and gave me hugs and told me how much they would miss me. That class asked if I could/would come and visit them and I told them if I can or when I can get out, I would.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo here is to a summer of play, play, play...well heal first!!!!

I wanted to say that the WWW has been awesome and I know there will be someone who will pick this up the week Chris is gone....in YOSEMITE....Chris you BRAT!!! I love that place!!!!

Oh and I have to say....3 people on this board are walking for the woman I did the mosaic mural for. That would be Rhonda, Chris and Jeni way up there in NorCal. I wrote Laura's sister and told her and she is very touched that all three of you are remember her in this walk. Jeni made a really cool pic to care of her too! I cannot thank the three of you enough!

Rhonda I have to say you are really doing fantastic and I  think it is cool that you can wrap your head around not running back to the food because of the attention. All of it takes times, some of us never get it, but I have a feeling you are going to do it....boobs and all!!! LOL

Chris I hope you had a terrrific time in Disneyland...did ya give the mouse  a squeeze! Gosh I have not been to Disneyland in nearly 26 years!

Karen did you have fun at the game yesterday? With a day like you had yesterday does have to make you wonder how one could work and do all the things they do. Hope all comes out okay on your cat scan!

Jean you must be a real skinny mini now...I look forward to seeing you in the near future. You look amazing in the pictures and I am sure much more in person. Good luck with your walk this weekend and have loads of fun!

Naomi...you too...have fun on that walk this weekend. All you girls cut a rug so to speak!!!

Maureen you get on with your bad self in size 8's!!! That is a real accomplishment getting in those single digit sizes!

Kim in Fontana...you do lose inches big time even when you are not losing weight...go figure, but it is all good!!! That is great that you are able to decrease on your meds and PCOS is diminishing too. I hope soon that all of it is a thing of the past for you in the near future!

OMG NaNCYaka Sunray...your new board pic!!!OMG OMG I cannot believe that is you....you look absolutely fantastic...AMAZING and I just love all those new perks that have come along with your weight loss that you are owning it!! You are doing so fantastic girl!! I am glad Lon can realize and notice the difference too. It isn't always about losing the weight...it is about everything that we gain on the journey!

Julie love the way you get excited over your English Lit class.  I love going to school myself and learning more and more but lately...okay since grandchildren...I have not had the time to drag my ass to school. That is something I need to put on my things to do list! Congrats on your wl this week!

Kim aka Puddin...you go girl!!!! I am so proud of you and you know you have earned that weight loss putting yourself back to basics. You will get there and get back to where you were and then some. Something about that way of living just makes it like you are fresh out of surgery and in some respects makes you respect that tool we have been given MORE! I am really happy for you! And marathon crazy woman...you go girl!

Robin slow and steady wins the race girl. You are doing fantastic....just keep on doing what you are doing and it will come off!!! How are the boys doing?

KayJay....just hang in there....your doc will get you back on the right track with your thyroid. I did have to have mine increased like I told you in another post!

Eileen you're doing fantastic!!! You keep up all the hard work! I guess I have not read the boards enough...but where you sick? Sorry and I do hope that whatever is going on that you get to feeling better soon!

Linda...you are just a mere peanut these days!!! I hope that you are feeling pretty good. When are you going to have that stint put in?

Dawn isn't it an awesome feeling to make that cross over to regular sizes? I could not be happier for you. Wait until you hit the single digit sizes....you will be bowled over for sure!

Pat in East Bay....you are doing fantastic pre-op to get that required weight off. I know you're committed and your doctor is going to be super happy with you. So stick around and keep on posting too!!! We love having newbies!

Delores you are doing awesome and congratulations on getting a date. Trust me having surgery is way better than any vacation because this lasts a lifetime....vacations are short lived!!! I am really happy for you!!

Barb are you getting all excited about your hubby's graduation and impeding trip??? How cool is that you are taking him to Hawaii...he is going to be like WTH? All the studying he earned a much deserved trip. Any news yet on the job thing?

Terry thanks for the vote of confidence....me did not do the dreaded teacher thing at school yesterday. I just kind of snuck out before he got to my name...and when I made a reappearence everyone was going where did you go? hehehehehe I did not want to deal with it. I hope I can make the district one on the 21st without a spaz or just able to physically make it! Thanks again!

Well I think it is about time to wrap this short story up and call it quites and hit the sack again. I promised Rhonda I would sleep in until 6 this morning....but I was up before 2. I think I will try to grab some more zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's and look forward to the day on a strick liquid diet....I feel like a pre-op again! LOL

Good morning Janine and Cali Guys and Gals!

Well today is going to be a beautiful day, I can just tell.  I know I am going to sneak in a nap later today as my husband slept like a fish last night.  All that flopping and flipping my goodness and all that in between the snoring!  lol.  Well I was supposed to work on the garage yesterday and I got started doing that, then decided I needed to have a girls day with my Lexie.  We had a ball.  We went for yogurt and then to Target, put a major dent in their supply over there.  Then we hit the 99cent store and oh my did we go on a spree there!  It was great.  Got lots of goodies  and a few things we needed.  But today we have to work on this garage!  It is a combo play room/office/pantry/baby chicken holding area/workshop/library/gym.  If you can even imagine that!  lol.  We have a huge garage, but a lot of stuff that I am letting go of.  I have donated so much to the school the kids go to and I think I am going to do more.  I am actually going to E-bay what I think I can sell and then freecycle the rest.  Well that is all for me today.  No deep thoughts today other than looking forward to walking in the Revlon walk and seeing Michael Bolton there.  Should be great.

Hard to believe only one more day left in San Francisco.  Almost done with my shift at work today, then off for a massage.  Lots of packing left for my move to Orange. (The city)  Met some real nice people here up north.  Had a sore throat all week, and now I have the sniffles.

1st - I have us down for 56.5 down!  (OK . . . Paula didn't remember how much since last time, so I gave her a -20 . . . it's probably more!) . . . and Pat S came in with a preop -16 . . . how cool is that?

Janine . . . you take the day and kick back and relax . . . this will soon all be over and you will be on the recovery bench . . . I won't have my computer with me next week . . . but I'll be thinking about you for sure!

You walkers for this week . . .wahoo and way to go!  I couldn't figure out why my second toe hurt yesterday until I looked at it last night . . . I had a blister UNDER it . . . good grief!  I walked all around the boundries of Disneyland on Tuesday 3 times after my friend left - and then back to the parking garage (avoided the tram!) . . . and got a dang blister.  I was wearing my Teva walking sandals . . .but the toe didn't like it I guess . . . and I prefer them to my running shoes . . . go figure.

Oh my goodness, I can't believe I am up so early. I have been awake since 3am, but just layed around & tried to sleep. That didn't work!.."Ugh".. I guess, I have too much on my mind. Well I went to the OC support meeting last night, the one that was held in Huntington Beach. All I can say is, I hade soo much fun! What a great group of ladies! I hope more people will turn out for the next one. I know I will be there!

Janine, I hope everything goes smoothly with your surgery and I wish you a very speedy recovery!

Well I was sitting with Teri & Nancy waiting for everyone, when I noticed this really hot guy looking at me. Well you know me, I am never one to turn away from a wink or a smile. So, I winked & smiled backed. He was sitting in the sun with his nice shirt & tie on and made a comment about being hot. So he went inside Starbucks, but then came back outside about 10mins later. Well he asked if he could sit in the shade , which happen to be by me. Well we all were talking and we kept doing the I think your really cute looks to each other. Turns out he is a lawyer! Then he said the old fashioned thing, "Have we met before", I then said "no, I just have friendly face", then he added & "beautiful"..OMG!!!! When did I reach cuteness??..lol We chit chatted for a little bit longer and when he decided to leave, Ms Jean, told me to go after him, I had to listen to her! She is a bright woman. Well it turns out, he is married..but I think its a unhappy one. And for all those wanting to know, "no" I didn't give him my number. Oh well, I guess I am going to write this off as a good self esteem builder..lol

That's funny about Jeff remembering lil miss pancake pants. She has a unique way of being remembered.

DH is about the same. Work is CRAZY busy. I keep telling myself over and over, "they can't kill me in a week and a half". We're still waiting to hear on the offer we submitted on a house. I highly doubt the bank is even going to see it. The listing agent is bad news! Whatever will be, will be.

Wow last day until the new schoold year, lucky you. I know the all liquids will be hard, but just think how much better things will be when you are all healed. I am working the day before my next PS, I dont think I could stay home and just obssess over it, I would go nuts.
Oh well need to get ready for work, mostly driving today from home to the "Skills Day" then to work way south and then finally home 2 hours later than usual just in time for more traffic, joy joy.
