Home from surgery!!!!!

I got home from the hospital yesterday. I am so happy to be home and I got a shower this morning.

I had a hard time sleeping last night. I couldn't get comfortable and was in pain. Plus when I was in the hosptal, they woke me up every couple hours to check my blood pressure and sugar. I came home off the blood pressure and diabetes meds. I am reallly happy about that.

I gained 9 pounds in the hospital from the IV. I am glas I was expecting that. I would have been very upset if I hadn't. I have lost 4 of those pounds so that is good. I have all kinds of sounds coming from my abdomum (sp?) My boyfriend said it sounds like I have a lion in my stomach.

Well, Cali, it is about time for another walk. Hope everyone has a great Mothers Day

Hey Kim, you are doing great, so happy you are home.  Doesn't that shower feel fabulous?  What a delightful result --- coming home without meds for your bp and sugar.  Wow!  CAn't wait to following you along your journey.  Blessings on your recovery.
