Happy Mothers/Sun........DAY

True to form, here I am you guys....I know I should be in bed, but I have been there the majority of the day and night and I was getting some assitis!!! Need a new position....like flat on my back or my knees bent and that is about it!!!

Happy Mothers Day to all of you Mommies out there in OH'land and that goes for mom/dad's too!!!! We have the most underpaid job in the world, but you know what? I would never trade being a mom for nothing. My son yesterday (James) was so concerned and trying to get some of my bandages to stick...he was pretty funny. James dotes on me a lot. They are coming over here this morning to make me breakfast in bed.

I have not been able to eat really....some juice I could get down and a protien bar and I almost had that come back up on me. I was told I could eat to tolerance, but that is not going over really big. I have drank enough water to fill my swimming pool...just kidding but a lot of water...and stupid me got on the scale and I am up 5 pounds since the day of surgery, but I am very bloated too...I am not worried because when all is said and done, I will have lost...it was just hard to see those numbers climb! My hands look like little sausages!!! LOL

Rhonda, Jean, Naomi, Michael and I do believe Lori C walked too....congratulations all for doing such a fine job! I am so proud of all of! I knew it would be a cake walk for all of you...you you walker/runner girls!!!

Jen....did you walk yesterday too in Sacramento? You made such a beautiful sign to display Laura's name!!! I have not sent it to her family yet, but I will for sure!! Thank you again....and btw Jen...Rhonda also walked for Laura...and Chris S is putting Laura on her hat too!!! How cool is that everyone???

Lisa in Modesto....hang in there little girl...maybe it is a good thing your boyfriend are taking a break. It might strengthen your relationship or it could go in the opposite direction...hard to say....just know right now is all about you and taking care of yourself.

Congratulations Bella on getting your surgery date....I hope someone will step up and be your angel. I could, but I am in the desert.

Joy I sure hope that your back is going to get better soon...OMG that is so wrong that your sisters do not help out. Just remember, you will have a place in heaven for the person you are...they...well nevermind. How is the remodeling going? I am sure you are not even touching it right now!

Barb...I would love to hear the music that you performed. I am in awe of anyone who can play a musical instrument....way out of my league...I am not an auditory learn...so not only can I not play an instrument, I cannot learn a different language either. Is your hubby counting the days? Sounds like you and your mothers are going to have a great weekend, and how cool a teahouse party thingie!!!

Hey Karen...I heard the OC swap meet is really good...one of these days maybe I will get out there for it. I have not been to one in years! Oh and Journey....wow does that band bring back a lot of memories...I wanna go home to my city by the bay!

Monica...happy mothers day to you also gf!!! Do we ever have the mothers day that is something we want to do? Not usually!!! I do not care really, but I am grateful that my boys are doing something for me....their version!! When they were in their teens, I would say the best present they could give me was letting me out for the day to ride my motorcycle. They didn't care very much back then....you know teenagers!

Little Michelle....did you make it home from Chicago...so sorry that you got ill while there...dampers the trip and I surely hope that your ears are not killing you from the plane ride. I hear colds and flying do not go together too well!I bet you can hardly wait to be back with your granddaughter!

Chris did you get to go and see Star Trek oh wait that is tonight? I know there were pretty big lines around down here for the sneak preview. Hard to believe that Star Trek is still going after all these years. My family were big fans of the Trekies! How is your ear doing?

Eileen sorry that you only get one day off...that is just wrong...everyone should get at least 2 days off in a row! How was the support group meeting?

Sue I sure hope you have heard something back on the offer for a home. It would be such of gift for all of you! Work girl...I would say something if you feel like they can't kill you in a week and a half....but sometimes you have to set some boundries! Keeping big Sam in my thoughts that one day he will find relief with his back...poor guy!

Nikki when is your next PS date? Yeah we can do some whinning together as long as you bring the cheese LOL!!! I am glad this is behind me so to speak. I am going to be anxious to see how the girls look. I am telling you right now I feel like I have no boobs....but they are in a super duper binder right now from under my arms almost down to my waist....or should I say belly button. I do not think my dragonfly tat around my belly button was interrupted to bad. I will get it redone if I have to!

Maureen I think you and Rhonda are cut from the same cloth with all the work you get accomplished all the time!!!  You two scare me! LOL

Dawn for sure I will be at their graduation...I have to be...I have never missed one...and I know they will be upset. I just do not like to let them down...so no matter what...I will go....I think my husband might have to if I have a problem driving! I hurt really bad under my arms on my ribs.

Naomi....how is your knee feeling after running? I cannot believe it that you ran like that? Rhonda called me and told me! I sure hope you guys post some pictures soon! Take care of that knee gf!!!

Linda how are you feeling? I sure hope that you get a date really soon for that stint to be put in....just know that there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Well I cannot think much more, I am kind of in a drugged state now and the pain is subsiding...so I think I should go and crawl back in bed for a while.

Again...all of you...thank you for the tremendous amount of support you all have shown me. I am kind of blown away and I feel that all your positive energy that you are sending my way has helped me a whole lot!!!

Good Morning Janine and Cali guys and Gals!

Happy Mothers day to you all.  I have no idea what the day has in store for me today.  SOmething fun I hope and a little walk would be nice also.  Kids are in charge today should be fun.  I got my first Mothers day gift yesterday from Ms. Jean she gave me a beautiful rose.  Thank you Ms. Jean.  I had such a great time with the ladies yesterday.  Mike had a grand time and could not figure out which lady was more fun than the others.  He did say Jean was more like a teenager than the rest though!  (I think that is a huge compliment).  He had a great time also and is so proud of his medals.  I heard from another pal that I am doing a 10k next Saturday.  I forgot I said I would or maybe I was drunk I don't remember actually.  lol.  Well That is all for now.  Thanks Karen for all the sweet comments and I want to go to the Swap meet with you guys when you go. I love the O.C. swap meet it is the best.
