Happy Mothers/Sun........DAY

Good morning and Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!

Janine, take things easy and slow.  And try to get some rest.  Don't know how you have the energy to do these awesome shout outs and take care of yourself, too.

I am going to take it easy today, and surprisingly feel pretty "not too bad."  The knee is a little sore, but it was the right hip that bothered me more yesterday.  (I walk off-kilter to compensate for my bad left knee).  Jean, you, Rhonda and Lori gave me the inspiration and support to finish the walk.  I have to admit I was hurting a bit.  Mike, I think it was awesome that you were there to help your mom with the "morning from heck" that you both had getting to the walk.

Ok, time for some coffee, so I can return to the world of the living, lol!  Have a great day everyone!!

Dear Karen,

Thank you.  I feel pretty good actually.  A bit sore, but like Jean says a good sore from doing something for a worthwhile cause.  Keep us posted on the OC Swap meet as that sounds like fun!

Have a Happy Mother's Day!

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Happy Mother's Day, to all you mommies out there!!

Hope everyone has a great day! I am taking my mom to brunch. We are going to a really neat restaurant called Park Avenue. It is so neat, it's like you walk into a time warp with the rat pack!..lol And the food is sooooo good! I really hope she likes it.

Janine,
I hope you have an awesome day! Breakfast in bed sounds fun! I hope you start to feel better soon! I am sending good vibes to you my friend!

I am so excited my best friend from high school is looking into having WLS, too. Well she asked me if I would go with her to her doctors seminar about the surgery for her support. I am so excited. I really hope she makes the right decision for herself.

Everyone have a fantastic day!

We need more information on this Park Avenue place.  I got to go there as I love that Era.  I had the pleasure of meeting most of the rat pack when I was a young child.  Long story so I just love that era.  Tell me more about where this place is.

Here is some info.

It is located in Stanton, of all places..The outside, looks like a hole in the wall breakfast place, but the inside in incredible. The food was so good, we just got back from there.

Here is the website:     www.parkavedining.com

Hope you get to try it out!

Morning Janine and CA Friends!

I actually have a day off from both jobs....whoo hoo!!!

Today I'm going to my mom's grave with my sister and nieces. We do this every year. We put some of her favorite flowers there, and just talk about all of our great memories we have with her...we really had the best mom/grandma ever.

Then it's back to my nieces for a bbq. Her husband is a very good bbq-er, and we're gonna hang out with his and our families. I'm taking my famous sangria....hands down mine is the best!!!

Have a great day and let your moms know how much you love 'em!!
