Good Tuesday Morning Cali

Good Morning Janine and Cali Crew,

I'm soooo sleepy  but have to be at work at 5 am this week...maybe for the next month.  Those of you that don't know...it is an hour drive to work so I have to leave my house no later than 4 am, but to get myself together usually takes an hour and a half.  No small feat I've trimmed that by 30 minutes already, but ugh working until 9 pm...this is kicking my tushie and it's only the second day. 

Upside is that I started walking yesterday too.  Lucky for me the post has an indoor walking track...one of those really fancy dancy cushioned floors.  So, I spent my lunch walking the track before heading back to the office.  It felt good....thank goodness no soreness this morning.  I plan on doing the same thing today.  Hopefully this is just what I need to take off those extra pounds.

Quick type by here as I am off to babysit this morning for a couple of hours before I go to the DMV to get a new license (gotta have a new picture since my license doesn't even look like me anymore.)

Had a busy day yesterday with lots of running around and all of it on only 4 hrs sleep from Sunday night.  But I can catch up on the sleep later.  Tonight I am going to dinner with Dave and then for a walk on the pier...should be fun...

Ok now Janine take care and RHonda - bless you for all you do for EVERONE...you are one hell of a woman for sure.

Jean, when you go to DMV, they are not going to believe the difference. You are one hot Mama!! I am so happy for you, that Dave is part of your life. Have fun and enjoy.

Well, gotta go. I have Doc appointments at UCLA this morning, pulmonary and gastric Doc's. Then this afternoon, my PCP, to see what they are going to do with the tumor under my arm. Got results, it is not CANCER!!!! Thank God. I am so blessed.

So happy to hear your tumor is benign!  I had a similar scare last December..right when I was qualifing for WLS.  Thank the Man Upstairs, there were no cancer cells floating around.  It is really unnerving tho to have to go thru the experience :-(  But it does make us stronger! ^_^

Thank God that it is not Cancer!  You are very blessed my dear.  I hope all went well at the doctors yesterday for you.  I won't be coming to the LOng Beach coffee next month as MOMO is going to be here and I have got a trip to Scandia we were invited to on the same day and it is all expenses paid for my entire family.  Sorry, but are you joining us at Disneyland the day after?  WE would love you to come.  Look for the announcement to  come!  II will post it at the end of this week.  Take care and keep us posted on your doctors appointments.

Janine, I'm so glad that Rhonda came and helped you out...what a great friend you have. I remember after my surgery, so many people came to my rescue and I don't know what I would have done without them.

Other than my allergies, I am doing great. I am living on Benadryl. This wind has gotta stop!!!

I have been gaining weight lately, and not working out, and I'm so bummed about it. My goal today is to get my very fat and very flabby butt to the gym. It's amazing how much tone I've lost, I almost feel like I never had that body lift, it's soooo bad. I don't want to get caught up in the downward eating spiral of the past......I've come way too far!

Janine, so glad you have our dear Rhonda (aka Energizer Bunny) there to help you.  She's amazing and wonderful.  So glad to hear you are feeling better each day.

Not too much going on, it's tha calm before the storm (Ron's graduation) so I am going to enjoy it.

Ahhhhhhh, Tuesday.  Besides the "work" thing going on, I have a couple of projects to take care of tonight.  First off is making a beautiful blankie for a baby shower.  They're big hunting people so they're doing the nursery in camo (yes, it's a redneck thing!) and I just didn't like any of the camo fleece they had so.............. the fabric I got is in the camo colors with a mottled background and big bear paw prints on it.  Totally cute.  Joe is headed to Yreka for a couple of days to help his cousin seal up the house and get it ready to paint.  Her husband, Joe's good friend, was killed about 6 months ago in a tragic accident in the woods.  Unfortunately with all his family that lives up there nobody seems able to find the time to help her out with the finishing touches of the home they were building together.  So........... in steps my wonderful man. 

I also have to move my scrapbooking table back to the back room.  Don't need it in the living room anymore. 

Off to get some work done.  I could use some more sleep.  Waking up to light the water heater every morning is getting OLD OLD OLD!!!  New water heater next week -- YaHoooo!

Another beautiful day in Sacto...and thankfully, it won't be as hot!  A couple of days in the high 70's and then we 'warm up' for the weekend...and I'm not looking forward to it :-(  We are heading out to Patterson for a camping trip and the temps are suppose to possibly hit 100...ughhhhhh.

Janine, what a blessing to have Rhonda so close...you both are special people!  Keep taking care of yourself and getting that rest!

Joy and Mo....tell me how to get the old man to agree to a few 'minor' remodeling areas!  LOL  You two are worker bees for sure ^_^

And Naomi, I agree with Jean...how do the 'girls' handle the squishing?  Even with my weight loss and no 'modifications', I still HATE having that done! If only the guys had to undergo the 'equilivent' ROTFL  They would appreciate the 'girls' even more ^_^
