Happy TGIF Gang....OMG can you believe that it is Friday already?

It has been more than a week since I have worked, but it sure feels like eons for sure as I have been off since last Wednesday and I am not planning on going back to work the rest of the school year.

I got a text and email from my sub yesterday. She said the kids really miss me and then got another one back from my advanced art class and they were all saying they loved me. How sweet is that? As soon as I can drive or get someome to drive me, I am going to go down there in that period to see them.

I went out yesterday for the 1st time since surgery. My son came and picked me up and took me with his wife to go and get Ava from school. I was at first okay, but it got a bit much and burnt me out. Ava was giggles from ear to ear when the door opened and she saw her nee nee in the backseat!

Thank you all who wished me and Jeff a Happy Anniversary. We didn't do anything. He came home with a nice white smile and we had take out dinner with my kids. It was good and of course I proceeded to fall asleep. Everyday is good as far as I am concerned.

Tomorrow I get to see my doc out here. How cool is that? If everything is okay, I will not have to drive into Beverly Hills on Monday...keep your fingers crossed. I really am starting to turn a corner somewhat.....I know it is going to take a while, but nevertheless I am almost starting to feel somewhat human.

So what are our plans for this beautiful weekend? Let me live vicariously through you.....scrap being responsible...it is supposed to be gorgeous!!!!

So stop reading and start posting.....lets read all about it!!!

Good Morning Calif.......

I am up and moving but by no means happy about it. I am just to sleepy. Yesterday wiped me out. I hate sitting around doing nothing, and that is what I done all do yesterday in jury duty. UGH!! I swear only 10 minutes into the day I picked along with 50 other for a department. After that we sat the rest of the day. They would call our department for a break. A BREAK???? we where doing nothing already. At lunch they gave us a two hour break, so I came home for any hour. I swear I would have rather worked 12 hours yesterday in the ER.

My head is killing me this morning OMG! I think I am getting a migraine and I have none of my medication. It seems like I am getting them more and more this year. I wonder why? All my lab work looked great from my 12 hour fast the other day. So my levels are good. Ahh. I wonder if its my eyes? WOW! Why haven't I thought of that until now? What a dork? But I was sleeping and woke up with the headache. Could I be stressing over my dreams? If I could remember them, I might be able to answer that.

This weekend is 10k with my nephews. Yap both of them are doing this with me. One is walking the other is RUNNING! John is ready to pass his PT test in a few weeks. I am sure that will not be a problem. Richard is walking. Just getting him out and doing it is great. I am happy about that. Then later in the day. My niece  in law is gradurating from college so the family is having a BBQ for her. Sunday a day of rest. But I have already told my friend I would help her with her cleaning her house. Monday, I am going on a hike, I hope.

Ok coffee is ready, that might help my head. I feel bad whinning about my head when there was so many that are way way worst off then me. I still have my job, my house and even if I wont eat it, I have food in cupboards.

Sorry I missed your anniversary. Hope that you are feeling better soon. That would be great not to have to drive into BH. I hate driving there. Yuk. As for me its work. Its been pretty stressful so looking forwarde to that. to be done. After work off to DMV its that time to renew. SO its real wt and new pic.  Out for a nice dinner with hubby and probably Lindsey.
Then, tomorrow up before the b ut crack of dawn. We are going to ride around lake elsinore up into glen ivy and then to a car show in lake elsinore. we are hoping to start our ride about 5 or 530. we both have lights and tail lights too.
Early moring bike ride on sunday and then some laundry..

Happy Friday morning Janine and Cali crew!!!

I am so glad that it is Friday.  It has been one long week.  I am definately sleeping in tomorrow.  I need to find a job where I don't have to be here at 5:00 am.  This is getting old.  I just found out this morning that they fired the girl in my office that they just hired a couple of weeks ago.  I knew she wouldn't last long here.  My boss doesn't really like when you talk back to her and she did yesterday.  I thought they would wait until today to can her but I guess they did it over the phone yesterday afternoon.  In times like these, you have to learn to do what you have to do to keep your job.  Even though I hate it here and am looking for another job, I'm not going to do anything to jepordize this one until another comes through.

Plans this weekend are absolutely nothing.  I'm relaxing tomorrow and church on Sunday and that's it.  I am too broke to go out and have any fun.

Well I am finally home.  My dad is not doing well at all, luckily my brother lives with my parents and can help out.  His shoulder will take at least 6 months to heal if it does.  I hated leaving him but had to get back to work since I will be off for my surgery.  My mom will be home from her cruise today, boy will she have a shock back to reality!

I managed to get some work done while I was gone so I am not behind.  I did not gain any weight, wanted to eat some bad things but stopped myself.  I know god will not give us more than we can handle, but he is sure testing my family with this injury.

What a great surprise.  I love getting little surprises in the mail.  I am so glad it is Friday... I have been so busy here at work.  I have been driving in all week, getting here between 4:10am-5:30am.  Just way to early, but I have had to leave early with doctor appointments, blood work, and then today I am out of here at 10:30...I am scheduled for my ultrasound this morning.  Can you believe this...no eating or drinking anything after midnight and my appointment is not until 11:30...almost 12 hours of nothing...

Tomorrow is our San Dimas support group meeting and I am looking forward to it...it is always nice to see everyone.  Then Sunday my daughter and I are taking the two grandbabies to California Adventure...and it is free!!!!  Well, for me anyway...last month when they went to Disneyland they get to go to California Adventure with in a month....I am so excited!!!  I told my daughter lets get there when they open and stay until they close!!!  Yeppieeee!!!

Good Morning all!  I'm waiting for the water heater to warm up and then I can shower.  After that we're off on Vacation!  Joe and i are headed to Clear Lake to meet up with friends.  We do this once a year.  Tammy and I are headed to Santa Rosa tomorrow shopping and the boys are fishing.  Sunday we have massages scheduled at Konocti spa and some pampering.  Monday we just chill and head home

Happy TGIF to everyone. Yesterday was my Friday. I am off for the next 4 days. YEAH. I do have a busy weekend planned. Number 1 on my list of things to do is the GYM. I have a party to go to tonight. My friend graduates from university today. Sunday I have a baptism to go to, and Saturday night someone I work with is having a party, I think half the hospital will be there. Of course I have all of those pesky things that need to be done, clean the house, laundry, grocery's. I could use a maid.

I just have to tell you all of this. My nephew was entered into a contest to write a story. It was submitted among hundreds of others in his school district. He is 1 of 3 that won, he will have his book published and placed in the school libraries. I am just so proud of him. He is just so adorable. I can't wait to read his story. My nephew is 9. I just had to share. I feel like I could shout it out to the world.

Janine, I am happy to hear that you are feeling somewhat human again, and happy anniversary too.

I should run and get dressed so I can get to the gym. I hope everyone has the best weekend ever.   I think you all ROCK!!!!
